Zoom for Google Chrome

This doesn't work at all. The middle of the page constantly goes blank. That is so annoying. You lose your place on the page & it wastes a lot of time. It's easier to take a snip of whatever I want enlarged , open up photoshop and enlarge that way. Much easier.

Does not work. Every new page resets to 100%

Long time user. Stopped working as new site settings couldn't be added. Reinstalled losing all my settings as dev said no way to backup. Stopped working a second time after a few months, in that the dialogue would only pop up for the first site visited when starting chrome. When it works , effective on 4/5 websites. Found another extension called Custom Page Zoom. Looks much better. Hopefully will work better.

What would be really useful was if you made the native zoom +- thing in the toolbar permanently visible, even if a webpage is at 100%. I find that the most logical place to use it. Firefox allows this. You see at a glance what it's set at, you can change it with one click. Total no-brainer.

doesn't work

i am bit worried about my data as this extension require "read and change data on sites" permission which i don't trust yet . and eve when i set to read data on specific site only ,it reading data on all sites.

Broken. The addon says my zoom level is 140% but it's actually at 80% (reported by Chrome) The settings page is bad. The guide on how to use it is buried in the options, not laid out properly and the guide is incomplete. Default zoom on page does not support wildcards (Setting a separate zoom level for Youtube's homepage and Youtube's watch page is not possible). Error tips not clear. When it does work on subdomains it's really random when it will remember the zoom level or not. If you set it yourself in the settings, it's quite random if it will actually use that zoom level or not. Tried both " Zoom at domain level" and "Zoom at web page level" No luck, it's just not consistent to warrant enabling it. Plus sometimes it will recognize you made a change to your zoom-level in tab and remember it for you, other times it doesn't for no reason. No tips are displayed saying settings are saved or anything, you must either keep the settings page open and refresh it to check any changes, or just guess. Plus why is there a "Apply the zoom level to all pages" button that does nothing because the Default Zoom slider right above it does the same thing? Oh and the uninstall feedback page links to a missing page It's just too buggy to use it.

Unnecessairy click on three dots replaced with an unnecessairy click on a Z. Genius. And it doesn't even work properly.

Doesn't work, at all. No "Z" appears. Also no context menu entry. Went through options and tried it all. Nothing. Still have to zoom with ctrl+ and ctrl- or the inconvenient three dot menu, where there is now some square icon that makes the page go wonky by removing all title bars, menu bar, scrollbar, tabs, etc. (I guess that's "reader view? Useless)

Does not seem to work within my Chrome Browser. PLEASE! ADD! "LOCK SCROLL" FEATURE! to stop the screen from accidentally zooming in and out with touchpad controllers... it is an infuriating waste of of time. And your app does not make scrolling better or worse aside from adding granular detail to a something that some of us don't want to begin with.

Didn't work on my Chromebook. Crashes every time I enter meeting code and password to launch the meeting.

Wasted more then half of my battery And I only spent 52 minutes on it when I'm not on Zoom it tend's to take Up my battery alot did not use it for a week my battery is down to 15 percent.

I am very disappointed about the latest update. It was working fine but now it doesn't keep a memory of the pages zoom level like it did before. Most pages are at 100% but I like to keep REDDIT at 140%. If I put any page at 100% all pages afterward are at 100% including REDDIT and if I change it to 140% on REDDIT all the other pages will be at 140%. I loved it before the update. I wish there was a way to not update stuff when they work well.

It *𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 technically work: the +/- (in)decreases the zoom by 10% each time and the slider adjusts in much small increments for fine-tuning. However, after hours of trying and testing from resetting all sites to default 100% zoom before installing the extension, making sure no other extensions were conflicting (in fact, I disabled all other extensions), and trying lots of different zoom amounts on different sites, as well as zooming with Chrome's built-in zoom function and then fine-tuning with this extension... but sadly nothing I did fixed the major problem that it just flat-out breaks the design, view, and/or functionality of most sites. 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀: • YouTube - above 120% zoom notifications are either slightly or completely cut-off as they appear outside of the screen/page borders. Also, 'Cinema Mode' is stretched so much it cuts off the edges of the video. And playback scrubbing is impossible because the site seems to register your cursor in a different place to where it actually is - (it's difficult to explain but if I was to click my cursor in the dead-center of the playback timeline the site would register the click much, much further to the right almost at the end of the video, if that makes sense) • Other examples - on any and every site that has pop-outs such as hovering over a linked/highlighted word causes the pop-out to appear outside the border of the visible page/screen. • On any and every site, spell check/Grammarly highlights an incorrect word but because the page is stretched it highlights in the wrong word or it highlights in a random place on the page making it near impossible to click the incorrect word as the page thinks your cursor is somewhere else. And lots more like this. It seems this extension just stretches the page which when breaks most pages' functionality. I just don't see how it's usable in any capacity. What a shame.

it doesn't work just use the bulit in zoom in on your pc and use a zoom in add on just use ctrl - or + and this an't working use the ctrl - + to zoom in and out even if you dont have this ad on

is it just me or does it not even work when i click it i wanted to zoom into a picture to see what was in the backround and it doesnt even work 0/10 wouldnt recommend.

Doesn't do anything. Tried on multiple websites with other extensions disabled. It literally did nothing. Clicking Hover+ just take you to Github - pointless

Doesn't work. After installation a monit opens requesting priviledges, but before I can click anything it switches tab and the monit is gone. Dude, seriously.

I do no recommend this extension, The only difference of this that I see is that the chrome ICON only shows if you change from 100% viewing. chrome won't jump 1 percent increments, and this extension doesn't either anymore.. I thought it did before.. To have settings on it set by click mouse buttons is ridiculous. If you want to zoom using your mouse, all you have to do, without.this extension is hold CTRL key down, and roll the mouse wheel either direction, zooming in/out the page. This extension is basically bloatware using up 20 Megs of ram that is not necessary.

it did not do 1% incremental zoom like expected, the slider was way to course to adjust and did not work to scale flash content at all

I just wanted a circle to hover on the page and zoom ONLY the things under that circle. Just like the way I use a magnifier. Otherwise I have CTRL+Plus/CTRL+Minus already!

Again, just press the following keys to zoom in or out: [Alt]+[+] [Alt]+[-] This extension is useless and in my mind was created for another purpose - collect user data.

This extension does nothing more than the built-in browser zoom. Cool but utterly useless.

Unfortunately it doesn't do what I want. The problem with both this extension and the default browser scaling is that sites get unreadable when you scale them to 150-200%. The extension doesn't solve the problem. I'd like to get something like in Safari.

doesn't save zoomed in, doesn't zoom in automatically for saved resolutions like it says.

extremely disappointed with this app. everytime i visit the web page i was trying to just get a customized zoom amount on, it re applies its set zoom amount to the amount its already applied.... 150 becomes 225 225 becomes 337....... ridiculous, not worth a download.

In chrome it only replicates what's already there; two-clicks: open one thing then click on the +/-. In Firefox the plus/minus buttons are directly on the toolbar for single clicking +/-

ctrl + += same function

Almost immediately after installing this extension, the cursor became misaligned in Google apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Had to reset Chrome and disable all of my extensions to track this problem down. Wanted to love this. I may try it again later.

Doesn't add any new funcionality to Chrome. This is already build in (CTR+ CTR- CTR0)
