Garbage experience. Do not build your site on Wix. Before paying for Wix, seriously research other platforms. Once you subscribe, real help is almost nonexistent unless support remotely logs into your computer. Even simple glitches or corrections that should take minutes can take hours to resolve. I spent nearly three hours dealing with issues that should have been basic fixes. The platform may look easy at first, but when something breaks, you are largely on your own. Do your homework before committing.

It doesn't work on Mac OS Tahoe. Keyboard input doesn't work.

For years chrome RDP was the top tier of fluid motion over RDP and low latency when out of window focus. It still is but the new UI is AWFUL. There is big black bar on the right side of the display you can never close.

Constantly goes OFFLINE for ZERO REASONS. The app is in the ignore list of my Antivirus, there is NOTHING preventing it from working, it is launched as an Administrator, and yet - it simply refuses to work. Not even to mention, that you can't even use it for gaming as the camera simply shoots in the random direction. This is unworkable.

very bad ui, i cant understand how to setup i am shifting from anydesk to this chrome remote desktop but i was dont aware that the just doing setup will take unnecessary time

The installer can't even be downloaded from their website at the moment. Neither on Mac or Windows. It just tells me that the file isn't available from the server. Generally love this app but it's useless if I can't get the DMG

Just uninstalled it after being so pushed to share so many things... also send screen recordings to Google... C'mon man, do at least a tiny effort to make people feel safe and secure...

This used to be one of my core apps on my phone. You could access your computer so easily. Now they say that the dedicated app has depreciated, because they're pushing everyone to try to access via their browser application. This browser is less convenient, less useful, with less features, while also being less safe, and is more difficult and cumbersome to use regularly. Just another example of Google turning their gold into a turd, instead of the other way around.

Took away the ability to multi monitor for some reason

For some reason in August ive lost dual monitor capability. I used to LOVE this app, simple and straightforward but its giving me headaches lately.

Hot garbage. So many free programs work so much better. Go use Teamviewer.

Worked just fine before Google wanted to push Chrome onto mobile devices. It worked before, and still works without Chrome. They just want you to download their spyware browser and will try to do so every single time you launch the app. Functionally adequate remote control.

Horrible, unable to use two screens with two screen host computer. Very clumsy and not user friendly. Even for a free application it sucks !

Quite clumsy, the most awkward tool I've used in the past year. Plus, maintained by a truly malicious and abusive company.

Used to work like a charm, been using this for remote work since Covid pandemic first started. Now if I move my mouse the whole thing just completely drops my inputs and shows "your desktop is currently being shared" message. Can't recommend this to anyone

This app used to be the best for remote control, I leave my computers 24/7 for online gaming, the game requires keyboard press using macro since its much more efficient, but now since its recognized as a normal keystroke, Remote no longer works, you can only see the screen but not make any input. Ruined all my 4 computers and smartphone. That was the worst change they ever made. They completely ruined the app, and there’s no way to disable this feature. Bring back the full remote access like it used to be or atleast the option to use or not the "new" feature! That’s what made this app the best. Now it’s totally broken after that update.

Pure garbage. After and hour of messing around and finally getting it working performance was so bad it would only register *one click* after that it just sat there stupidly. Waste of time.

i can't use it. I was excited to try Chrome Remote Desktop, but my experience fell short. I added the extension in Chrome and clicked "Accept & Install." The process started fine with the host installer launching and a Windows Firewall prompt appearing. However, after I confirmed the firewall access, I only saw a green progress bar for a brief moment before the installation window closed automatically without completing the setup. I appreciate the potential of Chrome Remote Desktop, but the installation issues made it impossible to use. I hope the team can address these glitches for a smoother experience in the future. without use i wan't to give this only one star. 😥

Unreliable. Works until it doesn't. One day I have full access, the next day nothing. And it can only be fixed locally (by setting it up again) which defeats the point. This is only a 1 star review because Google doesn't allow Zero stars.

Non-functional software. Simply downloads a webpage that prompts a download for another installer. This download fails with the error message "Cannot download the item as the remote server is unreachable." Any google help-threads I try to use are just spammed with ai-generated garbage that is clearly not for this program or this problem.

I am trying to add remote desktop to my laptop so that I can access it from anywhere and these stupid screens keep cycling round in a loop and the software not down loading - does Google ever look at theses screens?

It stopped working on a Macbook Pro M2 2022 and a Macbook Pro 2019. There's no way to fix this: "A problem was detected with the Chrome Remote Desktop installation on this computer." No matter if I remove CRD, completely uninstall Chrome, restarting, reinstalling... Nothing works

it is the worst, I tried contacting the technical support with no reply, I sent feedback with detailed explanation about the the issues I am facing, again no reply. I am quite surprised by google not taking care of its product and feedback
