Doesn't work on YouTube at all. Tried running it standalone with other extensions disabled. Probably fake reviews.
Literally does not work anymore.
Not working anymore Edge 140.xxx
Doesn't work at all
It doesn't work at all, and I try another rotater, and it works fine, so fix your problem. Read the comments, I am not the only one.
not work
It seems it is only working on youtube. It does not works on videos on other websites.
2024-0810 This extension does not work. It does not rotate youtube videos.
doesnt work. fake app
For some reason is not working anymore. It stopped working after an update.
Doesn't work. There is no "R" to rotate. And no instruction on how to use... "When the installation is completed, you will see the Rotate that Video Player icon in your web browser toolbar." I don't see. There is no "Rotate that Video Player icon".
doesn't work after new update, even I colse the other extensions.
not work
90° rotate works but cant see 2/3 of the video
This extension is unfortunately mostly useless due to the fact that it cuts off the top and bottom of a video that has been rotated since it lacks the ability to zoom out/resize/fit to screen.
no hotkey, no on-screen button, no auto fit/zoom function. useless.
HOW TO USE IT
does nothing
does nothing at all
does nothing
Does nothing at all on DailyMotion
it does the job but why it led me to welcome page everytime i open chrome.. annoying
Crap, it did nothing.
This didn't do anything at all. it showed the icon at the top of chrome, and opened the popup, but didn't effect any videos.
tried to rotate youtube shorts, the left and right side of video getting cut off
doesn't work on youtube but worked fine on other sites, maybe conflicting with some other extensions though I didn't try to find out. another big issue is that this extension doesn't rotate the player window with video, so you have to watch a vertical video in a horizontal player which was very annoying.
After changing the UI, it still doesn’t work even after reinstalling.
It worked fine alongside Enh*ncer for Youtube and Adbl*ck for Youtube, but the update broke it, even after deactivating all the other extensions and reinstalling this one. Even after reinstalling the browser itself, the rotation preset still wouldn't stick. Could you upload the last version somewhere? It was fine enough back then.
Rotates YouTube videos for viewing in YouTube, but doesn't actually allow you to save the rotated video so you can save others the hassle of loading this app. I'm looking for an app that actually rotates the video permanently, not just on screen when viewing it.
Doesn't do anything on my Chromebook.
For YouTube, this rotates the entire video player element. Unfortunately, this also rotates the the captions/subtitles along with it, which makes them hard/impossible to read. It would be nice if this would compensate for the player rotation to keep the captions oriented correctly.
goooooood plug-in. but I need: 1. “Move Horizontally” move to left, and “Move Vertically” to up. 2. add a “preset” button will be better (or, remember last setting). No need to set and adjust for every video. Just one-click. can you make it? that'll be perfect.
It's good but I installed it for google meet....but it didn't work 🥲
The extension functions fine, but after rotating a YouTube video, it reverts to its original orientation instead of staying rotated when switching to full-screen mode
It does what it says, however after rotation it is in the backfround and so tesxt from title of clip is in front of video. It needs to bring the focus of the video to the front so that it overlaps the text and comments that it is going to displace.
It works but................................. it has a mind of its own! It rotates videos that don't need rotating? all by itself? then the damn thing won't give up the menu to rotate them back to normal! Needs fixes BIGTIME!!!!
only work for youtube
It does work, however on current 10/2018 Youtube video the act of rotation cuts off the top of the video and the extension does not allow for clip forwarding, should you need to skip parts of the video. You have to watch whatever from beginning to end. To make it work you do not have to close down your browser tabs and then reload, like we used to have to do years ago. If you are using an updated version of the Google Chrome browser, just refresh the Youtube tab, then left click on the "R" symbol for the extension. To make a landscape video portrait enter "90" in the top slide box. To compromise for the top cut off, you can make the angle of the video less, like 30 degrees instead of 90, so that you can still see the top but you don't have to rotate your head as much to see what's going on.
