Pop up blocker for Chrome™ - Poper Blocker

It works but when I close the site and open it back up the settings does not save

This app has been my buddy since years ago. As of March 13th, I got a warning about the extension "not working". Turns out the Basic, free blocking is no longer available. Goodbye. I'm not paying $39.95 for a subscription.

This HIJACK your browser to boost the traffic for certain TEMU stores and of course that's unacceptable and can get you banned from whatever website they're trying to use your system to increase the traffic for.

I installed this to not receive annoying pop-ups; instead, it keeps asking me to consent to data processing. I don't want you to process my data, so either respect my choice or don't bother.

I have the Pro version. It does NOT work. Keeps loading the basic non-paid one. I guess to really get the pro version, you have to pay 4 times what they advertise . it doesn't load, failed to load my Gmail account. NO customer support at all. waste of money and time , please refund me so I can buy a pop up blocker that works, remembers that I paid, and dos what it claims. two years and hundreds of fails on this , and I'm tired of getting robbed for services you claim your paid product does, yet it does NOT do any of those things and it cant even recognize a paid account. i guess things haven't ben updated since 1996 on your end?

Seems scammy by whatever installed looking like jiberish. ALSO, this extensions is not free, anything you want it to actually do is behind a paywall... TRASH.

Recently started being intrusive with its own ads. Time to get rid of it.

I installed this to block pop-ups and now this extension creates it's own pop-up on every website telling me about 'Advanced pop-ups'. (I've clicked to enable this feature but it doesn't stay enabled)

DECEPTION of users. It doesn't work in free mode at all - it doesn't cut the simplest ads. All features are available in the paid version only.

Ignore the high score and volume of ratings. Maybe this app was great in the past, but not anymore. My first and biggest complaint is it introduced more than a bit of lag into Chrome: while scrolling, on scroll-over, on click, everything. Went through an extensive troubleshooting process where I optimized every system and browser setting I could think of as well as reviewed every active extension. Night and day difference having this disabled. My specs are good enough where this should've never been an issue so I knew something was up. Second, and likely not coincidentally, this extension harvests your data. Why does it need access to my entire browsing history? Best case scenario, even if said harvesting wouldn't explain the lag I experienced, it would simply mean it's poorly coded and/or optimized. Third, the extension fails to do the one thing it's supposed to do well: block popups. Some it would block, but others would come through freely. And as others have pointed out, standard ad blocking has come a long way over the years. There's little need for this to begin with. Don't blindly follow the crowd, folks, as I once did.

There are too many bugs.

Did not block popups in a website. Kinda the whole point of the extension. Uninstalled and one star. Would give zero if possible, considering it didn't do it's only one job.

DO NOT INSTALL. This is malware. If you read the EULA they track all of your activity and do many other invasive things. Avoid this at all costs.

need to agree to let them share your data for 'advanced blocking'....that didnt even block anything. now my email is getting all sorts of spam! avoid!

Did not block anything for me, I still get page-blocking pop-ups like "allow ads". Deleted as useless. Requires permission to "Change and grant access to features such as geolocation, microphone, camera". What for? Allowing did not make it work better.

Ublock Origin Lite blocked this extension. Privacy Badger blocked this site too. Why? Because this popup blocker was part of a malware operation years ago identified by Adguard. According to one source, this company that owns this extension was sold to a malware developer. It also asks for too many permissions as far as location, camera, and other data? What for?

It worked for like one day so I deleted and redownloaded and then it didnt work at all. But when it worked it was good

Absolute trash. Worked in 2015 but it's been useless since going Payware. I doubt it works any better if you pay for "pro". I would wager, original developer sold out and has not developed since.

was cool...then extension messed with YT....went fullscreen and extension injected a scroll bar on all videos......ALL VIDEOS....even playlisted videos.... removed...didn't even work too well on a lot of websites anyway...
