Having to pay for a dark theme in 2026 is braindead and I'm uninstalling immediately

Putting dark mode behind a paywall is obnoxious.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Every single time I try to edit the dashboard it crashes. Totally useless.

Sports scores are free but you have to buy the software in order to get Sports "News". Useless.

Adverts, American, not enough customisation, privacy issues. Promising but same old ad revenue and privacy issues. Oh yeah and no clear way to sign out.

Bugs from minute 1. Couldn't login, couldn't change the first 3 widgets I tried. And the fact that there are ads is a complete bait and switch. I can't stand that. Just tell me up front. Their description specifically says 'Tired of getting blasted with ads?"

Doesn't do anything after install, just goes to a blank page. The Home page of the extension has some buttons "Get Started", they install another instance of the extension. Seriously flawed!

Sorry but installation = just an icon in the bookmarks bar... Click on the icon = nothing ; new tab = nothing ; assistance = woooh, too many things... I'm looking for a simple dashboard, not a rocket DB for Nobel prized ;) (that i'm not :P ). My first experience with iChrome is that. So I don't want to see more.

Sign in page appears to be non-existent, so this is more or less dead it would seem.

I can't DO anything with this page. There are no options to GET anything such as an rss feed. All I can do is move the widgets around. what good is it? I wanted an alternative to Yahoo start page, but this is not it.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Can't change the weather widget from San Fran CA, no matter what I try. Other widgets seem to migrate around the app and half of them don't work. Ugh, what a nightmare. This could have been an excellent home page, but I am using Startpage, which is stable, has tons of widgetsuser-friendly and free. (Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5)

it doesnt work. i cant access the options--it only shows the iC logo, and clicking on the icon in the extension bar at the top does nothing.

Used to like this and liked the news feed which seemed middle of the road. Now the news feed seems heavily right wing?

Paid for a one year subscription. One month later it was over. RIPPED OFF!!

Sports app doesn't work. News app is a joke

This used to be a very good home page until the ads appeared. The ads are from a web page called criteo.com which has a very poor analysis from my browser security for scam, phishing and malware!!!`

I can't remove widgets! There are no "handles" in upper right hand corner of any widget. I tried deleting and reinstalling, but that didn't work either.

Clickbait and it showed up for me without my knowledge. I didn't install it, but I enabled it to see what it was. Not impressed with horrible news articles.

The weather had San Francisco. I live in Eucha, OK I want to remove iChrome

It has ads, just that made me remove this extension a minute after I've installed it. Having a "Pro feature" in an extension is just ridiculous

Downloaded Sierra from Apple and now no matter what I do, when I open Chrome it will not launch IChrome. This plus the bottom banner over my widgets...forget it....

There's plenty of extensions that do the exact same thing as iChrome that don't extort you for money. I liked iChrome, but I'm not willing to have ads blasted at me just so iChrome can "expand." Not only are the ads an unnecessary cash-grab, but the amount that the admins are asking for to remove the ads is absurd. There's no option to pay a lump sum, they rely on you giving them a few bucks a month and forgetting long after the fact. "It's so iChrome can continue to expand." Get out of here with that nonsense. It doesn't need expanding, your house does, and I'm not paying for it.

Wow, so many ads added over the last few days! Going to give the developer a few days to make the ads less obtrusive. If not, then I'm uninstalling and finding an alternate solution.

Used to love this as an alternative home page, but now ads cover several widgets. Way too many alternatives to keep using this with intrusive ads.

Removed the instant they started putting adverts on my home screen. Switched to start.me.

Used the free version for over a year. I didn't go Pro because I didn't need any advanced features. The floating ads OVER my widgets are a deal breaker - uninstalled.

Was perfect up until they added ads that were obstructive and covered up widgets. I would have stuck with it had it been ads that were unobstructive, like if they were cleverly placed around the widgets, but this is not the case

Not only does it have ads that cover your widgets, it does not save your settings in a way that is easily recoverable. My Chrome browser is always being hijacked by 3rd party services and I lose my settings. Makes no sense to redo the way I had my stuff setup. Completely wasted my time.

I was using this in combination with a iChrome new tab extension. It was great until they just added ad banners in the free version. No thank you. Removed.

used to be good when free but not worth the money they want - now removed

It was great, but it is not worth paying what they asked you to pay to remove the ads they introduced a few days ago.

What a disappointment. I only had iChrome for a few weeks before they added the banner ad, which ruined an otherwise beautiful interface. $24 a year? What were they thinking? Uninstalled.

I loved it but now it has ad banners. Not going to use it anymore.
