SubTrans - General Subtitle Translator Suite

The translator does not load subtitles from You Tube. So it does not translate. This system is useless if it does not work. I do not recommend it. Waste of money. No one communicates. Do not download.

UPD: 1 star because a "Search for Subtitles" feature is now only in a PAID plan. So basically the extension became completely useless. ----------------------------------- In a fullscreen video mode the translation popup is not visible. Also with an uploaded subtitle it shows me too much text in English, but it works fine with other languages. To fix this behavior I need to select *uploaded* as the first subtitle, but I lose the "click to translate" feature in this case.

Translation is off, and you are only limited to 30 mins a MONTH! for the free version worthless unfortunately.

It doesn't work on facebook. Every time I press the extension it just says load fail. What can I do?

First off, I was trying to translate a show from arabic to english. and then it tells me that it needs to have some type of subtitle so that i can use the extension.

its ok.... It works and is pretty nice once you figure out the settings, but don't expect it to be very accurate. I use a VPN to watch Japanese Netflix and needed an extension to add English subtitles because some shows just don't have them. And it works for the most part but almost every sentence isn't properly translated and you have to kinda read between the lines to understand it. An example a subtitle would be "Didn't he think before becoming overbearing?" when it should be "Do you ever think before being rude?" A lot of times it chooses the wrong pronouns and completely misses the adjectives. Like I said, it works, but not always very well. I'm still searching for one that has the setting this one has but properly translates.

Does this extension work with 9anime, Zoro, etc? i need this to watch dub anime with sub but it didn't work can you do somthing about that

Does this extension work with 9anime, Zoro, etc? It is a cool concept, but if the website (let's say 9anime for example, could be another website though) that you want to use the extension on doesn't have official subtitles BUT you use another extension like +Sub to add subtitles onto that website (again, let's say 9anime for the sake of example, but could be other website), then will it work? For me, it didn't work. That is probably because 9anime doesn't put subtitles on dubbed anime. Or maybe the extension doesn't support 9anime yet. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong though, so help would be much appreciated :)

It's really really easy to set up and use. But the subtitles lag on Amazon prime unlike what the above comment says. Like it lags really bad. It's the only real problem, but probably the worst problem to have on subtitles.

Works for what it is, but ultimately obsolete. Youtube already has a feature to translate official subs

Hi,I when use this extension on udacity,it always shows me that it the loading fails, but why this happens all the time, on the top that there's english subtitles in there indeed(btw,I just wanna translate the English subtitles into Chinese.)
