Fake scam. Does not function. Just a pointer to a download page for their app.

Worked for a while recording separately, did convert to mp4 - then afterwards would not convert to MP4 after less than 30 mins - Was recording a live game - I don't understand why would it not download it to MP4 for less than 1 hour after 3 weeks!.

I had purchased the lifetime license for Apowersoft Screen Recorder, expecting reliable service and uninterrupted access. Unfortunately, the product has stopped working, and despite reaching out to their support team multiple times over an extended period, I have not received any assistance or resolution. The lack of customer service is extremely disappointing. I strongly advise against purchasing their products, as their service does not live up to expectations

If I could rate this SPAM/SCAM less than one star I would. DO NOT download this BS. And you will be reported to the chrome web store. Ladies and Gents, BEWARE of this app-especially, downloading it. IMHO It's nothing but a trick to pressure you to "upgrade" to pay $49.95. I am very familiar with how to screen record using 3rd party software. I repeatedly hit "save" after I could clearly see that the video had been screen recording and nothing happened. It's a trick to get you to download the desktop application that expects $49.99 for BS you can get for free from somewhere like tinywow. Like are you f n kiddin' me? I'm livid because I wasted my time. Understand that we don't know if they wrote each and every last one of these reviews. I've seen it more and more where the reviews that are being left for these apps don't even have any other reviews left for other products or merchants. To me, that's always suspect. We've been online long enough to know some BS when we see it. That said, be skeptical of these apps(or merchants in general) in these playstores and such, raving about their app, product, good, or service. Because there are merchants doing this to boost the ratings. Amazon is no different. If you can't leave an honest review, there is no point in leaving one. Something else that should raise your eyebrows is the "Top 10 FREE--anything". Because this app is proof they'll think nothing of deceiving people into thinking that you're getting something you'd have to pay for elsewhere. I will be deleting my account after they're reported to chrome web store. They need to start screening these softeware developers. Because I'm really sick of this kina BS.

ONE STAR! I tried recording, got a .webm file, but when I see, only 16 seconds of it had video, then the rest of it is just audio! Nah, I quit on this one.

The "extension" it installs is just links to their website where it wants you to download an .exe file. Either that is bad, or there's a logical, harmless reason that they DON'T MAKE CLEAR, which is also bad.

cannot convert mp4 but always asking you to download the app which must be paid to work

the options of Share, Download and Upload are NOT working. I click on them and nothing happens!!!

i used to use this all the time but today it only records a few seconds and iit is unusable.i tried several time and also then added the app but it was the same outcome. unusable. it used to be so good... sigh

Recording is fine on website but it plays only for 4 sec as soon as you donwload, I haven't had a good experience, so I dont recommend to download.

I was led to believe the videos were saved on cloud but i could not find them, And the support is not good at all. I lost my recordings. pathetic support. during the recording- it goes blank and suddenly lost the entire recording again.

Clicking the extension simply takes you to the website. Pointless

After recording, I could not save or download the reordered file. are there any way to get the reordered file?

PAY to use APP !!!only basic function of screenrecords available, and limited 1minute records for trial version, they even need you to download their program to use other function. All reviews fake as hell. Do something google chrome, your extension webstore szuks, full of bots reviews and no popularity search function

Every video it recorded terminated within 5-6 seconds of video playback, even though the video file showed 47 seconds recording length. Manageable UI but doesn't feel fully baked.

Althought the file seems fine, It never plays more than 5 seconds (I've tested many players and recorded videos on different days). I usually put it into some video editor or converter to be able to watch the video normally.

not as good as it used to be

As I write this review, clicking on the option to write the review deleted my recording which hadn't been saved yet (and was very important to me regarding career advice). Much prefer the version from several years ago. I used to make a lot of recordings which were of very good quality. There used to be an option to start recording using a shortcut which was very helpful and I miss it a lot. While mostly okay, the current version can be buggy and limited, however mostly still works. I've lost so many important recordings due to save buttons disappearing, grayed out recordings and other bugs.
