Smart Audio Capture

Wouldn't even start recording. Doesn't work at all.

So I recorded 5 hrs of audio in a Chrome browser window; when done I told it to "Finish Recording" then "Save"... which produced no activity and no .MP3 file anywhere. So I tried 3 hrs, and on "Save" (this time as WAV) got a window saying "Oh snap, can't open the browser" or some such thing and... no file. This is as much a waste of time as the Chrome Audio Capture extension. Neither will actually save what it has recorded. This is in a completely vanilla Chrome, in Windows 10, with no other extensions. Why do people publish such junk?? And leave it broken for months. Just amazing.

Recorded a couple hour's worth of audio capture all for the extension to lag and crash out as I was about to save and upload it. Don't waste your time, it's untrustworthy and it bugs out.

used to be absolutely awesome. but it hasn't worked for over six months - perhaps it's not optimized for Chrome updates, but it records NOTHING, doesn't register any sound anymore. I don't know, but I'd reckon the extension is abandoned.

Acts like it's going to work and then crashes when trying to save audio.

Only Mp3??? WEBM and WAV not available.... Doesn't work.

I spent 1 hour and a half to record something, but was not able to save, then the app crashed and said there is not enough memory to save the audio. On the app, there is no information talking about the memory limits. A piece of junk software. Will be removed.

it is overall amazing i would recommend this and if its slow its probably internet probelms but id use this all the time i want to make videos EDIT: it is fricking broken never use this

It doesn't work at all. The dialog box appears, and it responds to the mouse and shows the page url and title, but when you finish, and then click play, there's no sound recorded. It makes a silent file.

despite the description it can record only the audio from the tab or the micro. not both in parallel. useless for me

Used to be very good. But today, the app crashed during saving. An hour sermon recording is gone; and no way to recover.

It seems to record fine, but I'm unable to enter anything into the fields on where to save the recordings. They are either blank, or they populate with something I had recently saved such as a document etc! Only I cannot locate these files afterwards. I did manage to successfully save my first two recordings under the same file. Also the recording timer shuts off when screen saver goes on, are there time limits on recording? Or is it just around the 7 min mark for the screen saver?

It is a good extension. It is capable to record only the tab audio which is helpful, but the only problem is that is slow. like verry slow. I need it to record files for aprox. 1-2 hours, but it is capable to record without problems only 30 min, after 30 min, when you want to save the bigger files, it starts to lag everything in my laptop and the pop-up even crashes leaving me with nothing, it also saves very slow and it makes a lot of bugs. please fix it, it's the only extension that i found decent at least
