I had some extreme problems navigating reddit after they did an update recently but the site worked in incognito mode. After drilling down and testing with every other extension on and off, I determined that this extension was the cause of it. Why this extension has any effect on a completely unrelated website to youtube seems very suspect to me. I'm uninstalling this and you should too.

This app doesn’t actually skip ads. Instead, it replaces them with a black screen, so while you don’t see the ad, you’re not saving any time either. Additionally, YouTube still detects it as an ad blocker.

Last night I accidentally enabled it instead of the one below in my extensions list, and today when I opened YouTube, there were ads, the site kept refreshing, and the video I'd just put in the queue showed the YouTube "Adblockers are a violation of YouTube Terms and Conditions". When I disabled this extension, Adblock for YouTube (green icon), YouTube refreshed without ads, the warning went away, and videos played as normal. So I guess it stays off now.

10/12/24 Been trying to find an ad blocker that doesn't need constant refreshing to block all ad elements. This is NOT that blocker. 4,5,6 refreshes later and not all ad elements are removed. Control of video is ad related in play bar.
