I'm still failing to download the app its so complicated and frustrating.

bad app

been struggling since morning to upload my recording . Frustrating

So annoying, it approves my camera then 15 minutes into my exam it says its disconnected which is impossible because the camera is built in and works perfectly, I use it every day all the time. There is no one to complain too, IRIS doesn't respond to emails and the university just says that they are sorry to hear of the "challenges". Really bad invigilator, everyone hates this thing.

High chance of losing your exam video with this invigilator app. It is horrible. IRIS app shows I uploaded successfully but UNISA says I didn't.

The most confusing software i have ever known by far. any university that use this system for exams delays the progress of the students years and years.

One of the worst invigilation apps , not to mention the support is ridiculous. I had to repeat an exam from last because they can not find my recordings whilst on the app it shows this was uploaded successfully.

WORST worst wooorst software by far. I failed TWICE because it didn't load the password, and i'm about to use it again for the third time????... c'mon!

The app is so difficult to download and to use. I failed so many times to get it .

NOT A SOFTWARE BUT AN EXTENTION. ALSO PRIVACY IS BEING INFRINGED.

This is an invasion of privacy. Direct device monitoring is not the way to keep cheating at bay because if people would want to cheat they will find a way nevertheless. Stay in your lane and monitor what is going on on your website, don't force people to sign up for device monitoring and taking screenshots of their entire computer.

This is truly the worst software ever!!! It does not add the password like it should. It is supposed to be a user friendly tool for students. How am I supposed to write my exam like this! It's probably the worst app I have used in the past year.

Impossible to get started. Setup process is too complicated.

there is no easy way of using the app , the app itself feels like an exam .

The worst App thus far why did they not Invigilator App ? The App keeps kicking me out for no reason.

I'm trying to download Iris on my laptop, and I am not winning, please assist me. I need to write an exam with UNISA

The app was running throughout my exam (submitted and all) but still my exam got rejected because apparently i did not use the app. How when it was running throughout the exam?

Poor design and difficult to use. Slows down your computer massively. Makes doing something that should take 5 mins take 30. One star is being generous.

If it were possible to rate lower I would. Completely useless. Doesn't work properly half the time. One of the few times it was working, instead of opening one tab to show that IRIS invigilation is working, it opened up 20+ tabs making my computer slow, chrome stopped responding and now I have to retake the module and pay for it AGAIN.

Completetly useless, i could not upload anything this is rubbish even rating it zero would be giving it some sort of credit.

Not reliable. Only managed to make it work for one out of three of my exams. Now I have to repeat the other ones. The program should allow you to setup even when the exam time has started, and cater for situations where one experiences technical issues like network downtime or load shedding. The exam paper/questions should only be visible after setup is successfully completed.

It's not recording nd I'm writing an exam. Last year the same paper was rejected because of this nonsense. If there was a zero rating I would be giving it right now.

I've been trying to upload my session for weeks.

This is a bad extension. I have never started on time with this thing as it always has problems.

Useless, pops up multiple windows both in tabs and that recording window, sometimes will say tracking is disabled and to see tabs but the tabs provide no action, just says do not close. It mostly does not upload when i was testing it using the mock test. Will stay stuck on the uploading screen, my internet bandwith is 450mbps down and 106mbps up. This is a horrible app to use, and I have a 3 hour paper and they want me to stare at the screen for 3 hours, feels like we have really dumbed down here.

This is a bad App. I started the exam late because of this App and still it did not record anything. How do I proof that I used IRIS during Exams. UNISA PLEASE BE SERIOUS.

The only reason this review gets 1 star is because there's no option to give it 0. If we're being required to use this thing for a major part of our grades, it should at least function remotely as intended instead of crashing every time.

This extention is just bad ,very bad.

Doesn't open at all. When I test it on the iris website, it works. However when I go to the UNISA website, a popup does not appear at all. Useless. I tried everything, I give up

This thing kept on closing when i was starting my exam, I wonder why UNISA recommend it because it is giving us alot of issues

Absolutely horrendous software, so buggy, so laggy. Having to deal with the stress of a poorly created invigilation app during an exam is just terrible

This tool is the worst invigilator app ever. The face detection does not work property, it lags constantly and occasionally freezes. This is a chromium extension for goodness sakes... why does a chromium extension be so laggy and freeze constantly? I can bet a high school dropout can create a better invigilator app than Iris for chromium-based browsers. This is what happens when corporations don't read comments... they are lazy to improve their buggy software, let alone their inability to take criticism.

ive been struggling for the past 2 years to write my UNISA exams with this IRIS Invigilators app. i have lost 2 years and been setback because this app works one day and the next day it just doesnt work. i couldt write my edam again today because the robot didnt pop up and someof the unsa consultants are so rue thry refuse to help

This thing is very useless and not user-friendly at all.
