I love Wakelet and have used it for years but the Chrome extension now keeps on opening chrome-search://local-ntp/local-ntp.html if I turn off letting Wakelet always open on new tabs. This is REALLY annoying.

The extension itself works good, I would appreciate the possibility of bookmarking short videos on instagram or tik tok or Fb too. The 1 star review is due to compatibility issue on Chrome, when hitting new tab it messes up with the page adress, I should reach google.it instead what I got is: chrome-search://local-ntp/local-ntp.html. Fix it !

The concept is awesome, bringing a very useful tool to humanity - however, why the f. does this extension insists on capturing the Chrome's start page? an no option to disable it Will give 5 stars when problem is solved

First 5 star, but when it breaks Brave NTP (new tab page) and their support ticket system only offers endless recaptcha-issue, i will temporarily change my rating to 1 star. When extension will restore normal NTP (if changed), it will use chrome-search://local-ntp/local-ntp.html address, and if you go to Brave NTP-settings, all Brave default sites are now broken, even when you change these settings. You can fix this via homepage-settings, where browser will point out that this extension is controlling these settings, once you restore (button at the end of the notice), all will work just ok. I will fix my rating, when the issue it is fixed.

Using Microsoft Edge, the extension does not respect my new. tab settings even though I've specified keeping my old settings. The native for Edge extension exhibits the same behavior.

It doesn't seem like it's working properly for me. When I click the extension in the toolbar, nothing happens...

The Wakelet extension does not seem to capture pages to Wakelet.com, which is its first job. I fail to see any use in having this extension installed. I have disabled ad blockers and script blockers for the test.

I have used Wakelet for at least 3 years and love the ability to curate so many different types of files/links and to organize them in collections. During all this time, I have used the Wakelet extension to simplify the process. However, a couple months ago, I began getting this message: The webpage at chrome-search://local-ntp/local-ntp.html might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. By process of elimination, I discovered that disabling the Wakelet extension solved the problem. Because I miss the extension's capability, I just uninstalled and re-installed it in hopes the problem had been fixed. Nope, I still get the same error message if the Wakelet extension is enabled. Please fix! Another suggestion - I have created groups of resources within some collections. Would it be possible to let us add directly to the sub-group? Now, the resource goes into the overall collection and I have to go back in to edit and put it in exactly the right spot.

I'm keeping the website account but will no longer be using it so constantly as the extension keeps overrunning my preferred new tab page. I've switched to Toby, which isn't as cool-looking as Wakelet, but at least they have a Toby Mini extension that allows us to add stuff to our collections without forcing a new tab page upon us. Maybe you could do the same? (Then I would definitely be back to Wakelet because it is more visually interesting to me).

Even though I deactivated the option "Enable Wakelet extension for new tabs", it messes up with my browser's new tab page. It forces me to use default (google) new tab page although I have Speed Dial 2 installed - but it isn't working unless I completely disable Wakelet extension. Do something with it

I created a wakelet but then when I added a site of interest using the chrome extension it added it to the central repository rather than my wakelet. If this was fixed, I can see real value, but as it is it is more hassle than its worth.
