I have removed this extension from chrome numerous times, I have permanently deleted my CouldHQ account, and I have revoked CloudHQs access to my google account, and yet it continues to appear in Gmail and prompt me to set it up. It continues to reappear in extensions in chrome no matter how many times I remove it and report abuse
Custom CSS is not working.
Most of these reviews are AI generated or otherwise fake. I'm not making an account for this. Also, it grabs your email and emails you without your consent which is pretty cool!!!
Removes huge parts of pasted code, changes the rest in a way that breaks it (but only after sending, not in the preview), merge tags doesn't work.
Does not work As others have stated, when you paste the HTML code the preview panel only shows your code, not a preview. The code also will not work on Gmail. Also asks you to log into your Gmail through the extension.
The preview function (the primary purpose of the extension) does not work, just displays everything as a white background with all of your html as plain text. Do not recommend.
No reason to need an account
Useless, you have to register to use it, bs premium app
trash, trash, trash Contains adware. All links redirect to this site signal3domain c0m
Waste of time, adware
Hello, m free HTML editor not work.. only try to load.. but get not.. Where is the problem?
Account creation is required.
Worked for my first email. Now ive come back to do another one, exactly the same template with different text and image and every time i either send or close my draft email all HTML is stripped.
Total waste of time. Do not bother with it. It creates the message but then those receiving the message receive nothing.
Junk. Only wanted an in browser html editor, but they force subscription to their cloud service and run in the background on your pc. The question is, why?
Requires an auth login that keeps failing, so useless!
Edit button for HTML does not appear, unusable.
failed at the first test.. the email is not received as previewed..
When it works, it works well enough (the two windows are not synced, for example) but the killer is that there is no undo, and it disables the Gmail undo, so if you screw it up, there is no way to retrieve your original message. If you delete your entire message, it is lost forever. SO COPY YOUR MESSAGE TO A FILE BEFORE RISKING USING THIS TOOL!!!
"Free"... but doesn't do anything without creating an account... which immediately wants to "read and manage" my emails. This is not "free".
needs an account and wants to be able to read all your mails
Seems like it works very well at first. Annoying you need an account, but its free so whatever. Sent an email and it straight up just doesn't work.
Account creation is required, and as of now their platform is in maintenance, so I can't use the extension.
Asks you to create an account to use it - doesn't work without it. Harvests your email address and sends you emails trying to sell you services and extra extensions.
Does not work as advertised. After copy/paste responsive MailChimp code in the Free HTML Editor for Gmail everything looks good in their preview window (Desktop/Mobile). If you actually send the email - most of the styles (especially the responsive styles) are gone - plus other important code elements. Not recommended. Maybe this extension just wants to have access to the user Gdrive and Gmail data?
terrible
Buggy... Every time I change something in the code(source), the second I use the the interface (design)... the engine tries to be efficient and you loose some of the styling. This extension is ok but man it would be a perfect tool for me if it didn't make choices FOR me. Let me decide How I want to code to look.
At first this looks really good. And then you send it and none of your CSS survives. So it is not WYSIWYG. Also clunky to transitioning between the code and visual drag and drop. data gets lost whenever you transition
Right off the bat it requires account creation. If that's a must due to feature implementations or support, then at the very least the service should provide an auto expiring demo account which new users could try for something like 15 days or so. Also, I get that services have to be paid for, but this is far overvalued at $20/mo when a professional might just use it very sporadically. A $10/mo gets me Photoshop, Lightroom and online storage with Adobe for actual programs and services that are used several times a month and in certain cases several times a day. This service might be be worth the current price for heavy users constantly on it, but won't work for the occasional users. Perhaps $20~$30/year could be fine for someone who would not be using it daily, unfortunately there's no such professional pricing option for the more "feather weight users" amongst us. Too bad.
Hi CloudHQ, So far so good. The only thing that bothers me is that every time I log into another email address the Free HTML Editor YouTube video pops up and starts playing. Is there any way around this?
Doesn't seem to like youtube embed code. Editor always pops up in full screen. crashes when certain images are inserted.
