Search Everywhere with Google Bard/Gemini

cannot read white pages due to vision issues....use a dark page and maybe I will use it. I can only use Dark Mode!

Obnoxious, mediocre and unnecessary, wasting huge amounts of energy and carbon emissions to deliver what can usually be found by clicking the first two or three results of a normal search. I had a generally favorable view of Google before it imposed this garbage on me; now I am eager to rid myself of everything connected to it. DO NOT force AI on your customers. It's unethical from a climate and energy perspective, it's outright theft from the perspective of the people whose work you've stolen to implement this, and it makes you look like horse's asses.

developers need to first make up their minds as there is little continuity with this ai changing every day it seems to be unable to do what it did 5minutes ago , the problem isnt much the ai but the limitations developers allow according to budget

Will not provide information from basic web information. Claims when conservative request are made to not fulfill request considered political but will immediately return information from liberal left wing sites. Disgusting!

Seems to work. Sort of... The platform's functionality suffers from a major issue with font legibility, especially in light mode where the fonts are way too light, making them almost impossible to read. While dark mode does improve the situation somewhat, it's clear that using such light fonts in the first place is the root of the problem. What's even more concerning is the apparent disregard for essential accessibility standards like Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) by the developers. Ignoring these standards directly impacts users, especially those with visual impairments who need clear and accessible interfaces. These oversights suggest a disconnect from user needs and a failure to prioritize accessibility, which is simply not acceptable in today's digital world. Obviously, the developers don't use this extension, at least on Chrome. On top of that, the inconsistency in branding—switching from Bard to Gemini—shows a lack of attention to detail and being tone deaf.

well, it simply does not work. It does not show the results on the search page, as it on the image, the chatGPT tab also does not work, asks for the authentication which is not clear how to do it. Useless.

Keeps asking me to sign into bard and come back. However, when I do, nothing changes.

Didn't realise it would create a Bard chat entry for every single Google search I run, pushing my genuine Bard conversations off the end of the list so I can't even find them any more. I was trying out something with Gemini before Christmas and now that work has been lost.

According to this Google blog post, this extention was launched today: https://blog.google/products/bard/google-bard-new-features-update-sept-2023/ However, it was not only launched a while ago, it also seems to be impossible to log in to Google Bard as well, making the extention pretty useless. According to the reviews here, this problem has been known for a while. Yet, Google decided to do the official launch today. This is a pretty damp squib of a rollout if you ask me...

I have set the languaue as English but suddesnly it changes to Hindi on its own, a language that I can't even read properly!

Edit April 10th: The extension seriously needs to be updated. They are many bugs. The widget on google search overlaps some google page contents, the results appear and immediately disappear in it. Fails to connect to ChatGPT. And on the browser, there are also bugs with the text, etc. Plus you really need to add a trigger mode. At the moment, the extension is literally broken. Good extension. Bard and ChatGPT side by side. Well integrated, works fast and a nice look. Only real negative point so far is that I don't see a settings where we can turn off automatic responses. I mean not everything that I type in google search I want it to be searched by Bard or ChatGPT!

Previously it was great, it worked perfectly but after updating it no longer works. The answer isn't displayed or even the question is asked. It was a good extension; I hope the developer fixes this bug.

DO NOT TRUST THE Incorrect information. AI engine fails even for basic information.

the bard is not very smart as other GPT, this plugin also has a display problem, the text is displayed in a very cramped place that hard to read

Unfortunately I had to remove this extension. I was on Maps trying to look at an area, but there was no way to minimize the Bard window. It was quite an annoyance. Hoping this gets fixed in the next update so that I can reinstall the tool and change my rating.

Have moved to ChatGPT again as Bard keeps asking for login. Also one iteration does not have voice tool and you have to type in the query.

Doesnt know the difference between using "chatter" and "shatter" in a paragraph. Half a dozen other dissapiointments. Nothing on ChatGPT - needs more testing.

Every thing is good but follow up is pathetic.. Experience is not like ChatGpt follow ups.

This has got to be the worse AI on the market, if it doesnt know something it wil make something up or in other words lie,and its excuse is its still being developed, which is still no reason to lie about results. I will be deleting it from my account, im afraid ths wil become the norm for controling what they dont want you to know about or search info about for example any thing gov. But to teach it to lie are you kidding me dont waste your time.
