Mute Tab

Does not mute tab, mutes everything. Completely useless.

Does not mute a single tab, it just toggles the built in chrome mute. Even broke my sound when i uninstalled it. Another complete waste of time that doesnt work or do what it says. Amazing how so many completely broken addons have 4+ stars. This thing is trash just like 90% of the other extensions.

"If that's all you need, then just right-click the tab and select 'mute'. You don't need an extension for that." What are you talking about? That is NOT a feature on PC's. Your app does NOT work. Comprende?

Mutes all tabs, even if in a separate window. Based on the name, it sounded like this extension would let users mute a single tab.

Minimally 'works' but it desperately needs shortcuts. See Mute Tab Shortcuts as a reference (now defunct unfortunately it seems).

I am just looking for something that will mute all tabs by default, but let me unmute it. This extension keeps remuting the tab when I switch to a different tab. Not what I want.

Works for the most part, but there's a bug when you use option 3 (mute all tabs except the active tab). When you use this option and lose focus of the tab for 5 seconds it will mute. Also option 3 doesn't seem to be muting tabs on other windows.
