SponsorBlock for YouTube - Skip Sponsorships

I've already submitting it, but it keep says "The server seems to be overloaded. Try again in a few seconds. Server returned status code 503." Could you please fix it ASAP?!

I have this and it's NOT working. I search for something on YouTube and the first result, followed by multiple random-ordered videos are SPONSORED, and these sponsored videos displaying in search results have NOTHING to do with what I typed in the search bar. This extension is not preventing sponsored videos from displaying in search results!

This doesn't do anything about sponsored videos that appear at the top of YouTube search results. They still appear.

Constantly asking for 'review our guidelines' it's ABSOLUTELY worthless. Having an add-on to report ad blocks that nags you about that stuff is pointless. Fire all devs! The Add On Is usefull as a Bag of Sand in the Sahara Desert.

Absolute garbage app. Does not work at all. Ublock origin is the only one that works properly.

Now it’s a mess, enforcing a sadistic perfectionist’s rulebook at gunpoint. Don’t dare offer help submitting—you’ll regret it. Scrap the leaderboard feature! Some of the worst offenders I’m targeting in my review are plastered on it, unhinged lunatics treating this thing like some twisted game of popularity. They are making the app dead! This is aimed at the admins and mods, the behind-the-scenes politicking that poisons this once great app. The summit segment practically shrieks, 'READ THE GUIDELINES!!!'—a tiny, glaring peek into how much they truly value your help. Don't give them your time, best avoided.

hello, the extension worked fine, but I ran into the problem that it stopped working altogether. It used to work fine with the UBust and adblock extensions, but now it doesn't work at all, it doesn't skip sponsored inserts, but shows them in the player, what can I do about it?

Your extension literally doesn't work. How hard is it to make something that works correctly Are you dumb?

It worked once so I gave it one star. It's odd it sees the sponsors, it highlights them in green, all the switches are turned on for the work, but I'll be damned if he just ignores it settings and plays the sponsors continuously video after video. I don't believe it's anything that I have done, since I haven't done anything other than install it. I guess the app just kind of sucks all the server that does not support the app. PS chrome is up-to-date, computer is up-to-date… MacBook

2025-06-28 Not working correctly. When you click on "Start Segment", the next time you click on the app you see "Start Segment" again, but you should see "Stop Segment". No longer works. None of the videos I'm watching today have the colored bars indicating the different things this extension was supposed to remove.

Somtimes this extension does not work when you start chrome, but for some videos it just doesn't even detect the sponsors and it is really painful to find the segments!!!

Half the time the "Start segment now" button doesn't do anything, making it impossible to add any new segments. Please fix this, it's been broken for ages!

Uploaded this today. It doesn't work, still getting the ads. I did have another ad blocker for Youtube I downloaded from the Chrome store but it 's disappeared. Someone please stop these damn ads or I'll stop subscribing to Youtube channels!

this extension is a very good idea however my experiences with the moderation team and community have been fairly toxic and I believe makes the product much worse than it could be
