Disappointing experience to boot: I'm working with CHROME on a Macbook Pro (a recent machine), and dearly missed an integrated AI β chat function. Thus, I installed this extension. Alas, not too much avail as I have to state, I'm afraid. Nothing really works, but for continuous prompts for me to earn "gems", which as I understand resemble the currency for any service the extension might provide... these "gems" have to be paid for by e.g. Selling the extension to your friends, or colleagues, or whomever! No, thanks. Additionally, "provide" is actually a keyword here: as much as I tried, I could not get the extension to provide anything - but error messages reading: "500 internal error"... over and over again! It does not even seem to matter which button in the sidebar I press... I've been using artificial intelligence for a while now. But this extension, if anything, provides. "artificial incompetence" at best! Hence, I can only advise you to use a difference AI provision. After finishing my review, I will delete this thing once and for all: I don't have time for such games.
Fun fact: Firefox offers this service too. It's available in their labs, and does not require *any* sign in to use (other than a Firefox sign in, which comes with synchronization benefits.) I switched to Chrome because it offers a more cohesive experience when using multiple different computers. Having an AI chatbot nestled in a sidebar is a feature I missed. I would *love* that on Chrome. And I do not trust this app to do so. Cmon, man. All you need to do is host a webpage in the sidebar. That's all it does now! But that webpage requires a sign-on...
pretty basic. the most "attention-drawing" feature is the tools, amazing set of tools, & all very unique with the inclusion of "gpt-tools", & some others. you login daily, & various other tasks to earn "gems" which get deducted per prompt for the tools( to the best of my knowledge), and it appears as though you have a "daily" usage for "free" users in the sidebar (0/10). there are some "interesting" AI-Models to choose from, & some of which cost more than others(gems), & some are are for the "free-trial", but many of which you can actually use for "free" by visiting their respective domains. in general: looks well-designed, pretty functional, clean, easy-to-navigate, and i had *ONLY 1 PROBLEM*, which was: "selected a tool"> (prompt-gramming-wizard)[selection of prompts from list]>not opening when i clicked. other than my 1 problem, pretty cool, and useful extension, no malware, or annoying ads all over the place, highly-recommended to at least give it a chance, if you are in need of an ai-assistant/tool & *you don't have access to the *"perplexity-comet-browser"**
