Description

LinkedIn Helper fundamentally transforms your LinkedIn experience. This extension gives you full control over your feed, automates time-consuming tasks, and supports you with state-of-the-art AI technology for content creation. The Problem LinkedIn is flooded with ads, algorithmically boosted content, and irrelevant posts. You scroll through endless feeds, see posts just because someone liked them, and waste valuable time. At the same time, writing high-quality comments and posts takes a huge amount of time - time you could be using for real networking instead. The Solution LinkedIn Helper integrates seamlessly into the LinkedIn interface. No separate popup, no external app - everything happens directly on the page. An elegant panel in the upper-right corner gives you instant access to all functions. AI-powered content creation AI Comments: Next to every comment field, an AI button appears. Optionally type a short thought, choose your desired tone (Professional, Casual, … whatever you prompt yourself), and the AI generates a context-aware comment. The AI analyzes the post content and treats your input as top priority. The result is authentic comments that stand out from generic clichés. AI Posts: In the LinkedIn post composer, you’ll also find an AI panel. Describe your topic or idea, choose a writing style (Professional, Storytelling, Thought Leader, or whatever you want), and get a LinkedIn-optimized post. The AI creates a post according to your rules and lets you continue working on it. In the AI panel, you can further refine your post or have the content changed entirely to your liking. AI Image Generation: When uploading media, you can create AI-generated images. Describe the image you want, choose a style (Photo, Illustration, Minimal, Business, or any style prompt), and generate up to 4 variants. The images can be inserted directly into your post. Intelligent Feed Management The feed cleaner gives you four modes for each filter type: Off: filter disabled Sum: posts are minimized (Min) and supplemented with an AI summary Min: posts compressed to 120px height with an expand option Hide: posts completely hidden Ad Filter: Detects and filters sponsored content based on labels like “Ad”, “Sponsored”, or “Gesponsert”. No more ads in your feed. Keyword Filter: Define terms you don’t want to see. Perfect for hiding certain topics, buzzwords, or annoying trends. Keywords can be time-limited (1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days) or permanent. Post Filter: Filters original posts (without “shared” or “commented” in the header). Useful if you only want to see interactions from your network. Repost Filter: Hides shared content. Reduces redundancy when the same viral post appears multiple times in your feed. Suggested Filter: Removes LinkedIn recommendations of people outside your network. Focus on content from connections you intentionally chose. Commented Filter: Filters posts that appear only because someone in your network commented. You no longer see every post a contact commented on. Reaction Filter: Hides posts that appear due to likes, applause, or other reactions. Dramatically reduced noise level. Interface Optimization Clean Mode: Actively removes distracting elements from the sidebars: ad banners, game links, “Follow” boxes, and other promotional content. In addition, buttons appear for collapsing and expanding the sidebars. Navigation becomes slimmer, and a few additional smaller QoL features are included. Extended Editor: Extends the LinkedIn post editor, enabling direct use of bold, italic, monospace, and lists. A revamped emoji picker shows the last four used emojis directly in the style bar. Networking Automation “Vernetz’o’mat” accelerates your networking on three levels: 1. Background Profiles: When you click “Connect” on the network page, the profile is automatically opened in a background tab (closes after 10 seconds). This lets you process connection requests quickly while profiles load in the background. A counter tracks your daily and weekly connection requests. 2. People Filter: In the “People you may know” dialog, a filter bar appears. Add position tags (e.g., “CEO”, “Marketing”, “Developer”) and only see contacts with matching job titles. The auto-loader automatically loads more contacts until your target value is reached (configurable up to 500). With “Connect with X”, you send requests to all filtered contacts at once. The weekly LinkedIn limit is detected - once reached, all Connect buttons are automatically disabled. 3. Follower Inviter: On company pages, when inviting followers, the same filter logic appears. Filter your contacts by job title, auto-load more, and invite all matching contacts with one click. Remaining invitation credits are displayed (e.g., 182/250), and the auto-loader stops automatically when the limit is reached. Feed Enricher Shows when the interaction or post was created for “commented” and “suggested” posts. This lets you immediately see whether a post is current or outdated - LinkedIn often shows you content that’s days old as “new”. Insights All profile photos become clickable and no longer open the profile. Instead, they load a small business card with all key person information. In addition, follower counts are shown next to each name. Technical Details Three AI providers: Supports OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), and Google Gemini. You bring your own API key and keep full control over costs and model selection. The summarizer function can also run locally in the browser using a fourth AI provider (Chrome Nano) - no API key and no costs required. Local Storage: All settings and API keys are stored locally in your browser. No external servers, no data collection. AI responses are cached to save API costs and increase speed. Dark Mode Support: Automatically detects whether LinkedIn is running in light or dark mode and adapts accordingly. Privacy This extension collects no data. Your API keys remain local in your browser. AI requests go directly from your browser to the respective API endpoints (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). There is no intermediary server, no analytics, no tracking. Getting Started • Install the extension • Open LinkedIn • Click the gear icon in the mini panel (top right) • Follow the guide to activate the local Chrome Nano AI • (Optional) add your API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) • Enable the features you want • Enjoy a clean, productive LinkedIn
