Description

Most website blockers are too aggressive. They'll block the site the second you open it, even if you just needed to check one DM. Then you get annoyed and uninstall the blocker entirely. Attention Reclaimer works differently. Instead of blocking sites instantly, it watches your behavior. If you're switching tabs rapidly, or you've opened Instagram three times in five minutes, or you're mindlessly scrolling, that's when it steps in. The nudge appears: "You seem distracted. Want to block this for 15 minutes?" Sometimes you click "Yes, block it." Sometimes you dismiss it and keep scrolling. Either way, you made a conscious choice instead of acting on autopilot. What makes it different: Pattern detection: It doesn't care if you visit Reddit. It cares if you visit Reddit → Twitter → Instagram → Reddit again in 90 seconds. Personality options – Choose how it talks to you: - Motivational ("You've got this!") - Brutally honest ("You're procrastinating again.") - Friendly coach ("Let's refocus together.") - Silent (just show the block screen) Pomodoro timer – Optional floating timer if you want structured focus sessions. Privacy – Everything runs locally. Your browsing data never leaves your browser. Works best for: Students, remote workers. Anyone who realizes they just lost 40 minutes on social media and has no idea how. If traditional blockers feel too restrictive, try this. It's more like having a friend tap you on the shoulder when you're getting pulled into a rabbit hole.
