It's useless because the play and pause options don't work in the little popout window, negating its purpose.

if your watching a YouTube video then all you need to do is right click two times on the video and click the picture in picture.

I have a super wide 1440 monitor, why is it locked into 1080p max? I don't mind locking at 16:9 but at least have it able to go 16:9 on a bigger potrion of my desktop. Edit: after years of contacting the developers still can't resize top to bottom edge on a 1440p monitor.

Stupid extension that break rendering of oher application in Ubuntu 22. Destroyed my nerves trying to resolve issues with flickering Intellij and terminal by reinstalling drivers and changing settings and it turned out that it's this stupid extension

What's the point of this plugin? The people that like this extension seem to be unaware that there's ALREADY one currently built into chrome that offers some extras. This one requires me to click play before it will even do the popout/PIP and it's worse than chrome/googles. You can at least juggle through video selection in googles/chrome by clicking the extension and you're not required to be on the particular tab you're wanting to view the video/PIP with. Offers zero video control(volume/forward/backward/ETC) outside of play/pause/close/back to tab. Even the sizing is the exact same as chrome. Don't bother. Granted I'm using this on youtube. So it may have more functionality elsewhere, but it's pointless to me.

No controls available

It literally just stopped working. It was fine and worked for a few months. Recently, it doesn't.

It didn't work for me. I guess I have to use firefox.

It didn't work, was clicking the icon with nothing happing, I followed the instructions, the video was playing and clicking the icon did nothing.

It keeps on going back to the browser.

no work whit netflix

I have to reinstall it every time I open the browser, otherwise it does not work. (Microsoft Edge, Chromium based).

Worked when I first installed it but now clicking the button does nothing

if the video accidently gets minamized in anyway or show desktop the video player turns white and it becomes difficult to close and you have to close and re-pop out the video every time and its really annoying. please fix.

It doesn't work on linux with chromium (the original free version of chrome). I sent a bug report.

Works every time and is a great app. However, a suggestion to improve the overall video playback experience would be, adding the ability to skip forward/back 10sec when the video pop-out box is active, either by adding extra on screen buttons in the pop-out box and by using the keyboard arrow keys to skip 10sec in the video, would make this a five star app.

works fine...it is better ifyou put a button on youtube player

Works well for making a pop out video frame from Youtube which stays on top of all browser windows. Resizeable and has pause, back and forward controls. No subtitles, none of the other youtube controls like fast forward, rewind, speed etc. There are lots and lots of extensions using this same code. Unfortunately none are open source so can't be sure that these aren't malicious or invading privacy Unfortunately this company has a poor track record for injecting malicious code and trojan software.

I had been using a window frameless popout and position and size it which is manual work I hide things like gradients and spinners as I seek back and forwards which this don't have which is nice. The only thing that I don't like and ruins it completely for me is the dimming overlay that appears on mouse hover where dims the whole thing and i can't see the video when seeking back and forwards especially if I am looking at educational videos. I find that very annoying. It's not your fault I think it is a stupid trend that had gotten out of control and I've seen The Youtube app doing it making it useless to me. I ask what good does it do, obscures the picture which doesn't help, I don't want overlays of things covering up the contents. I don't mind a thin border along the controls to help the user see it like there use to be. I don't like gradients either placed over things as it gives me a false illusion of shadows or clouds (if in a scene of skies). Also I cant seem seek by towards the end. Good effort though by not including the spinners and gradients and other annoying stuff. I like it clear and plane with just the controls. I'd give it 5 starts if it didn't have that overlay appear.

It works pretty well. If they added the ability to open multiple instances at the same time, that would be Awesome.

Amazing, works on even anime sites, but a major drawback when you want to play a game in fullscreen it doesn't work. A fix to this would be very useful

It works but still lacks one important feature for me. Full screen. You see I like to project from my laptop to a second screen in extend mode. So while working on my laptop, I pop out videos to the second screen. While there I have no means to maximize it into full screen.

Make control video please. Can't control it???. and shortcut youtube video is nice

Technically it works, but doesn't offer full screen. So not what I'm looking for.

Please add volume controls or at least a mute button on the pop out window.. Opera has this option which makes it extremely useful.

works fine. doesn't work if multiple windows of the browser are open.

Worked great but then a few days ago completely stopped working on youtube. Whenever I clicked on it nothing happened, not even a "No video found" popup.
