Sometimes when you start a video it changes randomly the video speed without being touched... and somethimes you can't even roll it back to 1.00 speed because it changes to numbers that don't match your settings of the + - buttons. You had ONE JOB. ONE SIMPLE JOB. And you just can't do it.

Completely broken by update

New update was pushed recently that has broken pretty much everything within the extension. Will be moving to another extension.

The new update breaks it. So annoying! whenever i try to return to 1x speed it returns to 2x or something. It didnt behave like this before. Please fix.

It was working fine for 2 years but maybe with new update(i dont know) the reset buttons (R) speed is always returning to 1.20x (should be 1.0). When i check the settings i see its coming back to 1.20 even if i change to 1.0. I am having this trouble for couple days .

Dangerous extension, avoid!

Extension injects code which sends you to an affiliate site when first visiting many domains. This is ad fraud and also takes money away from actual affiliates, publishers, and content creators. AVOID!

After years (?) of using this, suddenly every video is loading at 1.25x speed despite me not changing anything and seeing nothing in the settings to indicate this should be happening, and restarting the browser did nothing. Something is broken.

Settings are reset when you turn on a video in another tab.

New update messed up a lot of stuff. Scrolling on the video speed no longer changes the speed. Sometimes it randomly goes to 0.07x randomly. And pressing R to reset to last used speed doesn't work anymore!!!!!!!!!

Stopped working. After upgrading my OS, the Video Speed Controller has ceased to work. Even before that, it only worked a fraction of the time. I't just not reliable.

Screw the last update, my settings and bind buttons reset almost every day. But I enjoyed the extension all the time before

On many sites, videos start playing at 0.07x speed, and even when moving forward or backward, the speed automatically resets to 0.07x. Latest update ruined it.

Another once great extension that has turned into MalWare.... per ActiveCampaigns support "Thanks for your patience. I have heard back from our Technical team regarding this. The code possibly appears from someone from your team accessing the editor that is running an extension on their device that is injecting the code into the campaign's HTML. They have pointed out because it shows something like ... src="chrome-extension://nffaoalbilbmmfgbnbgppjihopabppdk/... If you search online for nffaoalbilbmmfgbnbgppjihopabppdk, you will see that it is an extension called "Video Speed Controller.""

Worked great until the last day or so (0.9.2). Now starts at 0.07x in Plex, and "forgets" speed setting in youtube whenever switching resolution or videos. Please rollback latest release to the previous working one.

This extension was good before the recent update. Devs, please fix this: If you hold down space or LMB to speed up a video using the default controls on YouTube, the display on the top left will still show 2.00 even after you let go of the button. Then, if you rewind or advance the video using the arrow keys, it will go to 2X speed and you have to press "R" to reset it. It was all fine before this update. On top of this, I added "youtube.com" and "www.youtube.com" to the blocked websites list, but it doesn't work, but that could be my own error. Rating 1 star in hopes of grabbing the attention of the devs.

QA much? Update broke all the settings and defaults are weird. 0.05 step is also unavailable now, it resets to 0.1.

i literally tried to move one of the playback speed on the video player settings for Youtube, but the Speed stays the Same, way to ruin the Extension, do something right and FIX IT!!!!!!!!!

This prevents dailymotion streams from working, the news agency in my region exclusively uses them and i had to disable all my extensions one by one until i determined it is this app.

There are now two controllers appearing in the sceen, one of which won't disappear no matter if you check hide or not, it's suck

This extension is changing the layout of pages even when there's no video anywhere on them, adding unnecessary scrollbars that don't exist when I disable the extension.

Every time I rewind a video or livestream, it suddenly changes from 1x speed to 1.25x playback speed, this bug is just annoying!

Don't work with primevideo, black screen when playing a video.
