no review neccesary, the developers knows why they are getting a one star.

Maliciously installed on my device without consent, more like a spyware

This extension somehow installed itself without my knowledge and is obvious malware. Don't listen to the replies the developers give they're lying out their asses and know exactly what they're doing.

These people force software on your computer without you realizing what the hell they are doing. Congress needs to step in and cut there actions back! Don't use these "products" because they are not really products. They are data gathering programs that track, annoy you with crass advertisements, and generally spread your personal information all over the world for a price! Noticed the response from the developer which is a bunch of horse poo! They added things to my computer and I was never aware what was there. Oh! Maybe it is in the 4,000 page user agreement that would take a month to read and then need to be given to your attorney to translate it.

Like others, this randomly appeared in my chrome without my making any effort to acquire it. Therefore it is malware. And the copy-paste responses to the reviews are ridiculously trying to claim that isn't. Bottom line, IT IS. If I wanted your product, I would have sought it out and actively downloaded it myself. And, on my next chrome startup, there it is again. UPDATE 02/25/2026 : Reappeared in my Google again without me installing it, only this time with another extension called "CipherVanten", which sounds totally legit and non-harmful. I've also noticed other strangely named extensions that usually show up around the same time this installs. Reported.

One day I opened Brave, and out of nowhere, a pop-up said an extension called Online Security had been installed. WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. Thankfully, Brave never enabled it, and I removed it immediately before it could do anything. This is literally spyware/malware. It has no business being on the Chrome Web Store. I seriously hope Google takes it down. Besides leaving a review, I also reported the extension to Google and I strongly suggest you do the same.

This app is malware/spyware. It attempts to install itself without the user being aware. I assume most people are unaware it is installed which is why it has a low number of reviews compared to its "users". Notice how many reviews talk about how it either installed or attempted to install itself on their browser. Also shame on google for not removing this obvious malware. To anyone reading this, when you remove this extension please ensure that you click the report abuse button.

I don't know what this extension does, it doesn't have any settings for anything, yet it wants permission for my location, GPS, camera, apps....etc. What for? A no for me.

★☆☆☆☆2025-06-01

I didn't knowingly consent to this being installed. I have no idea what it does or how good it is and I don't care. I'd be willing to bet most of the 17 million "users" have no idea it's been added to Chrome.

The extention keeps installin on my pc without my concern, i remove it from everywhere but it gets installed again. It is MAWARE for sure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why was it automatically installed on my browser without my permission? Is it a rogue plugin that collects personal information under the guise of security?

Installed without my permission twice, and has lots of fake reviews in here. Should be banned from the chrome webstore.

This extension was installed twice without me asking for it. The software might be top notch. At least that is what it looks like. I do not need another piece of software that does what windows' security and a third party virus scanner with real-time capabilities do. My main concern is that I did not sign off for this extension to be installed. Besides, I already have a Microsoft defender extension installed. Doesn't all this software that basically does the same thing make one dangerous programming soup on your device? Pegasus is an Israeli product as well. Now I know this can't be trusted. This extension is part of a suite which also features RAV Endpoint Protection. I had problems with that piece of software. I be keeping an eye out for this kind of software.

It installed itself. Suspicious. I removed the extension from Chrome and now I feel better "Online Security provides little to no value compared to functionality built into browsers or available for free. At the same time, it implements its functionality in a massively privacy-invading way." read this: https://palant.info/2023/05/10/online-security-extension-destroying-privacy-for-no-good-reason/

All Fake Reviews anything 4+ 5 Stars are all bots. REASON LABS AGAIN - AAAAAAAAAAAR YOU ARE THE WORST TROJAN BACKDOOR SLY PIECE OF SOFTWARE I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF TRYING TO GET RID OF. Months after I think I have gotten rid of your 'security software' I notice a little extension or a file that comes up in deep search or a piece of trash during a defrag that reminds me just how deeply persistent your stain on my system is. Google you should be ashamed to recommend this to people.

Installed without permission or notification. Any company that forces anything on me without my informed consent is complete trash. I have had nothing but connection problems since this garbage snuck in. Good thing I checked. I had removed it but added it back just so I could write this warning to others. There is a word for entities that force themselves on to another entity without consent... it rhymes with tape, and all of you companies are getting far too comfortable. How would you like it if someone penetrated your network without your consent? Hypothetically of course. #CdC

I didn't want this software, I didn't ask for this software and trying to get rid of it was far more timely than reasonable - if this is how you seek to get custom, it certainly won't be getting mine. Bundled adware that is nothing other than annoying.

★☆☆☆☆2024-06-10
Wally Garcia

This is bundled adware. Some sketchy software I shouldn't have tried force installed this on my PC along with a slew of other tools by the same company. "Online Security" my foot, more like malware that has access to your data.

★☆☆☆☆2024-06-10

This was a backdoor sneaky bundled and hidden extension install that just won't go away. I did not choose to download or install it knowingly, there are other Reason Labs programs as well such as a VPN and AntiVirus. Have tried muiltiple times to uninstall, remove, delete, and it keeps finding ways to reinstall itself. Scummy software and sneaky way of operating.

★☆☆☆☆2024-06-07

Automatically installing extensions AFTER we remove your software? Great idea. Do better.

This is obviously some sort of spyware, or malware. It installs on it's own, When I start up my browser (Brave) it always takes a few seconds for it to load, and thats because it was "asking" for my consent, even though it's a tiny little box in the corner. For me it read "Error" because an extension installed without me, so thanks Brave. Anyways, I'll stop the yap. Here's how to delete it. I recommend writing a review as well with the same instructions so that other innocent people can remove it. First, press the Windows key and start searching for "regedit", pressing enter will open the Registry Editing tool Secondly, go down the tree and delete the following keys: HKEY_USERS\S-<~30 Random Numbers>\Software\Google\Chrome\Extensions\llbcnfanfmjhpedaedhbcnpgeepdnnok HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Google\Chrome\Extensions\llbcnfanfmjhpedaedhbcnpgeepdnnok HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Google\Chrome\Extensions\llbcnfanfmjhpedaedhbcnpgeepdnnok

★☆☆☆☆2024-04-25

BEWARE: This is a phishing scam. It is a deceitful extension that hooks you, only to announce you cannot use it unless you pay up. Uninstalled. Once you register, they send emails claiming bogus breeches in your security.

As others have stated, this was added to my computer without my knowledge or consent. Frankly, whether or not this is safe, this is not okay. I would like to know how this managed to find its way onto my computer, but I can't find any info on it. The permissions given (Read and write files, motion sensors, and other random ones) automatically sometimes make sense, however as this was added without my knowledge and uses permissions that can read sensitive data, this is 100% spyware. The reviews are also botted, using far too formal language and AI sounding sentences (seriously, give them a read). Stay off my computer "ReasonLabs". Edit: To test others theories, I can confirm this will reinstall itself after restarting my browser (Vivaldi, which is Chromium) Edit2: To delete on Windows, do this: First, press the Windows key and start searching for "regedit", pressing enter will open the Registry Editing tool Secondly, go down the tree and delete the following keys: HKEY_USERS\S-<~30 Random Numbers>\Software\Google\Chrome\Extensions\llbcnfanfmjhpedaedhbcnpgeepdnnok HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Google\Chrome\Extensions\llbcnfanfmjhpedaedhbcnpgeepdnnok HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Google\Chrome\Extensions\llbcnfanfmjhpedaedhbcnpgeepdnnok Then, to confirm, fully close and reopen the browser. If this isn't fixed, try asking on Reddit (Probably r/Chrome).

This is malware. It was automatically added to my Chrome and Brave without me doing anything. I emailed the company to see what application this malware is embedded in and will update this review if I can figure it out. To remove it completely you need to google "chrome online security extension reddit" and it will guide you to delete some registry keys in registry editor or this application will keep reinstalling itself.
