JobOwl – AI Resume & ATS Cheat Code

This extension generates a resume with hidden/invisible keywords and skills to increase the candidates match score. I only caught it when I scanned the generated resume and it showed a very high match to a job based on numerous technical skills that I never listed in my initial resume, that are not visible on the generated resume, and that I have zero experience with. This is incredibly dishonest on the developers part, as there is no indication that a matching resume will be created by blatantly lying. Any candidate caught submitting this type of fraudulent resume would be immediately disqualified from consideration.

I have only had this app installed for one day and used it for 3-4 resumes but so far it has misidentified one company, changed my years of experience from 25 to 2 and it does not include important relevant information from my resume such as the industry software that I have experience on. It also adds bullet points and other formatting that could possible confuse an AI reader.
