Description

Hides the downloads toolbar shelf from the bottom of the window and replaces it with a toolbar button which opens the downloads tab (similar to Firefox). On laptop displays the default downloads shelf that appears is too large and distracting. Now it can be disabled! This extension is free and open source.

Same "problem" than others: There is no "warning" that the download has started or finished. On the other hand, if this extension is open source, where is the link to the source code?

Google Chrome has Download Shelf disabled with no way to keep it permanently open. This extension would be better if it could toggle Download Shelf on and off. As with Google Chrome, this extension has absolutely no settings to customize.
