✦ Slugify — Permalink & Slug Generator Slugify is a lightweight Chrome extension that instantly converts any text into clean, formatted URL slugs and permalinks — right from your browser toolbar. ✦ Generator: Type or paste any text and get a formatted slug in real time. Choose from seven case styles — Slugify Case (preserves original casing), lowercase, UPPERCASE, Capitalized, Sentence case, Title Case, and camelCase. Set any character as your separator (dash, underscore, dot, or anything else). The output box is fully editable — tweak the result manually, and if you want to start fresh, hit Regenerate to recompute from your original input. A reset button clears everything back to defaults. Your last 8 generated slugs are saved in a Recent history you can click to restore at any time. ✦ Presets: Save reusable configurations for different content types — blogs, products, categories, or any workflow you repeat. Each preset stores a label, prefix, suffix, case style, and separator. Each preset also has a convert symbols to separator toggle (on by default). When enabled, special characters in your input are replaced by the separator; when disabled, only spaces are converted and symbols are left as-is. Selecting a preset in the Generator instantly applies its settings to your output. Edit or delete presets at any time from the Presets tab. ✦ Snippets: Save frequently used text in two types: URL or Text — domain names, brand strings, boilerplate values — and copy them to your clipboard in one click. The type can be changed at any time from the inline edit row. URL snippets display an Open button alongside the usual copy and edit actions, letting you launch the saved URL in a new tab in one click. Slugify warns you if you try to save a duplicate, but still lets you keep it. ✦ URL Launcher: A dedicated tab for saving and launching URL templates with variable endings. Save a base URL (e.g. https://example.com/download/) with an optional label, then paste or type a suffix (e.g. a code or ID) and hit open. Slugify combines them and opens the full URL in a new tab instantly. Paste buttons are available on both the base URL field and the suffix field.
