Patent Download

This is a simple extension to make downloading US patents based on the patent or application number more efficient. Instead of navigating to a site that hosts the patent/application (such as the USPTO site or Google Patents), you can merely enter "gpd" into the omnibox, hit tab or space, and put in the patent/publication number. The extension strips out non-numeric characters and will download the PDF from the Google Patent site. This is a companion extension to the "Patent Search" extension.
