It had to be written in html and I don't really know how to do that! Terrible. Only for professional coders and html website designers.

Absolutely terrible. You spend more time screwing around with it, than you do actually writing. You'd be better off just hitting the "TAB" button, like a real writer than messing with this garbage. The best plays, novels and movies were written on typewriters; so what's this thing's excuse for existence? Don't waste your time, if you intend to call yourself a: "Writer".

I wanted a script app for creating screenplays. This is for programming, I've never even heard of a script being for programming. This is not helpful and furthermore is annoying.

I couldn't work it out. There was waaaaaaaaaaay too much stuff going on in one section!!!!

I'm not very impressed. This app appeared when I searched for Google Drive apps that could view JSON files. I connected the app to my Google Drive, then attempted to open a simple JSON file. It failed with the error: "Password protected files are not supported." The file was a simple JSON file, not password protected at all.

You cannot open existing scripts in a new window (separated from chrome). I might as well continue using the usual web interface.

wanna more to be good

Great idea, but not even ready for beta status, let alone release. Google have clearly lost interest in this as basic and simple to fix bugs have remained for years. It's a shame, because it holds a lot of promise, but Google can't expect anyone to invest any effort into it if they wont themselves.

I am getting what looks like ghost symbols in me chrome browser when I open this app up. It makes it incredibly difficult to see the menus and toolbar or know what you are clicking on. If I could get past this I am sure I would like it but not like this.

I was looking for an application that can write html files.

The only reason I'm giving this a low rating is that the name is deceiving: I'm looking for a SCREENPLAY FORMATTING APPLICATION. I'm keeping this app because I DO write, ahem, computer scripts, but what I'm looking for is screenwriting format. Guess I need to do a, urm, _google search_ (oh, the irony).

Yet-another-bookmark app. This app doesn't really provide anything that you can't do just a easily within Drive.

Would be nice to have a offline ability in this app, that way when I'm offline and traveling I can still work on my apps.

Good to improve google apps, but I wanted to make a running, self-standing script, not a google app-attached one!

It's a good idea and it works a lot of the time, but as per-usual Google has under performed. There are a lot of small bugs that you'll have to deal with and nuances you'll have to learn.

There should be other programming languages as options.

I like google scripts, but why is this a Chrome extension? I can't get it to do anything other than what the browser version does - in chrome AND safari - so it's about as useful as a bookmark. I don't get it. I mean, am I doing it wrong?

Very slow to debug

Needs to be able to edit my html files.

Its work very helpful for my application.But I want to know one thing-When a user signed in Gmail. And same user signed in another account. In my app second account can't access the appscript. How it can be made possible?

Cool you made this, but to me it is useless. I don't know how you are making an app if it the just opens a Drive file with the paragraphs.

Gmail: can't search and label individual messages — just threads.
