Keep getting popups asking to donate, extension is now more annoying than it's worth.

Didn't work for a long time and then suddenly I got a pop-up, or rather an intruding tab to the creators Patreon page. Instant uninstall. It was decently good when it worked but I'd rather look for an alternative.

Didn't work at all. At no point did it show ratings. No ratings appeared in movie info or play bar.

Fantastic extension but version 2.3.3 no longer works. Guessing Netflix changed something and broke it. Please update! It's incredibly useful when browsing Netflix.

Simple and effective, and it has a link to IMDb's page. {EDIT} No longer working on the new Netflix UI. Shame!

This extension was awesome, but sadly it no longer works and no info from the developer. So presumably Netflix has blocked this and nothing the dev can do?

Also stopped working shortly after install..It wasn't even working properly from the beginning. Didn't install any other rating extension. In average, rateflix displayed rating for 1 in 10 movies/tv shows.

I'm an optimist and hate giving bad ratings...I will usually just uninstall before giving anything a one star...I see a couple quick responses to bad comments so that's my hope here...if you can explain to me what the hell I am doing wrong because I am launching Netflix through the extension IMDB ratings for Netflix...which stopped working BTW...why I was looking for another solution...your app/ext doesn't work there(didn't expect it to...just tried) and it doesn't work through Win 10 app launch either...help so I can give you a proper rating. It's true that it "mostly" doesn't work now. Now the only place you see the ratings is while actually watching something, when the controls bar is showing. But at no time while browsing for content do you see reviews. Hopefully it can be fixed soon.

Too many wrong scores and ratings is used making this extension untrustworthy.

Lots of room for improvement. When it works, it uses the tomatometer score from Rotten Tomatoes. which is basically worthless. Use the audience score!

Just works. Not sure why sometimes it shows IMDB only and other times also Rotten Tomatoes and/or metacritic. But at least IMDB is always there. UPDATE after 3 months: Downgraded to 2 stars because the score is not reliable. Sometimes it shows an accurate one, sometimes it shows 5, but I go to IMDB and see 8. Basically I reverted to quickly google the unknown titles instead of trusting this app. I understand that perhaps there is an intermediate database of some sorts that caches the scores. But if the developer resyncs it at least once a week, the issue would be mostly solved. If there is a minor score difference of 0.1 or 0.2 for a week it's fine, it's not fine when the score is never updated.

It works only in a few movies, not even in the popular ones. I don't have any other related app for Netflix.

Works very randomly. Only shows the scores sometimes and for some movies, not all a that are in imdb or rotten tomatoes. Quite useless.

Why does this extension need access to my browsing history?

Works great once you click on a movie and start it. Since Netflix updated its site, the ratings info no longer displays on the movie preview by hovering over the title.

Well, it adds A LOT to Netflix experience (I hate Netflix for removing user ratings and for not producing any usable rating information at all) but has own drawbacks. One problem is that only IMDB link is working, i.e. I can click on on IMDB icon and it opens up IMDB page for this move. Cool, but why Rottentomatoes and Meta does not work the same way? Rotten gives you two ratings and the plugin only displays on (critics) and if I want to check out user rating as well now I have to do the same old search by movie name on Rottentomatos, which basically defeats the purpose of this plugin. Also, why plugin always show "fresh" icon even when a movie is "rotten"? It would be some much more visually informative to switch between "fresh" and "rotten" icons depending in its ratings. Anyway, it's a great plugin and gives you a lot making Netflix finally usable and saves a lot of time but with a few minor fixes it can be perfect!

Netflix opens any window I hover over, but to get the IMDB data I have to close each window and open the new one. Would be good if the app could follow the hovering pointer and automatically add the IMDB data instead of my having to open/close a window for each movie. --- Just checked accuracy. Often gets the wrong number for a rating. Worse in 2024.

The displayed ratings look nice, but unfortunately it's limited to the films/series you click on. It would be great to add a small badge with the rating on all the tiles of the Netflix interface, to avoid having to click on every tile.

Nice and useful, but doesn't fully work - for a great many movies and shows, the Rotten Tomatoes score, which I personally prefer to rely on, isn't displayed. Even though it's set on the website. I often see IMDB rating only. It also mixes up movies of the same title - eg. it confuses (poorly rated) "The Last Laugh" from 2019 with (highly rated) "The Last Laugh" from 2017.

It seems to me that it works well when the title is in english but with other languages it fails

The ratings (at least for rotten tomatoes) are different, not sync'd up. I was watching Maniac, the plugin when seen on Netflix says it's at 51% on Tomatometer, when I go to the site it says 81%.

Only shows IMDB ratings. RT ratings don't show up even for popular movies.

Very recently interrupted me twice while watching shows to request donations. Not a great way to go about raising funds.
