Synology Note Station

Doesn't work! I try to connect to my synology and after login it gets stuck on loading saying "syncing 10%...". If i close the app and open it again all I get a white screen. Tried to uninstall and install and problem persists.

how the hell am i suposed to use it if every time i open it the app asks me for account info but i dont have a freking account

the app is quite ok, but unfortunately I have to do a unlink each time I want to use it as it won't connect anymore with multifactor authentication.

I would love this tool, but HAVE PROBLEM if using 2-way authentication. It just cannot connect to my NAS anymore and that's why it also does not synchronize my notes. :( PLEASE FIX THIS!

This worked quite well - but it will no longer authenticate with multifactor authentication. Fix this, and I'll update my score.

It stopped working with DSM 6.1 - tested on my mac & linux - various chrome versions, by domain/ip..

BEWARE . no undo delete for audio, images attachments. No confirm before delete of such files ... nasty stuff

Won't sync - sync icon spins forever

The spinning circle sync is spinning FOREVER. There's something wrong with this Note Station for Chrome app, because DS Note on my Android devices syncs fast. The only way I've found to get a successful sync is to unlink (logout) my user account in this Note Station for Chrome app then re-link it again, which means I have to login with username, password, and MFA. It's not practical to use until Synology fixes this app.

The problem with the Chrome app is that requires Chrome as the default browser, otherwise it does not sync. I like Chrome, yet *not* as the default browser. On a Mac, Safari is so well integrated with the system. And on Win, Explorer is a better default too. Sadly, Synology Note Station Chrome is ready for the shredder. I say sadly because Note Station is really nice, but it lacks a standalone app.

The synchronisation doesn't work inside the Chrome extension app. I have two computers. On one, I update a note; it doesn't sync automatically with the Synology station. I sync it manually. The same note isn't updated on the other computer even after I sync there manually. Please fix it. Also, when I search for some text, relevant notes are displayed, but the searched text isn't highlighted in the notes. Please fix that, too.

There are better todo and note taking apps on the market. Any.do, Keep etc. A synchronised folder structure on Google drive can work the same.

I'd really like to give it a good score, but at the moment can't because it doesn't seem to be working... Well, I can create notes but 'Sync now' just spins forever and doesn't actually sync anything. I tried several times, restarted the browser etc., it didn't help.

while i love idea, this is still in beta... when i changed some stuff ( after it got synced from server), resync with server (on local network) is runing almost 40 minutes now.. ( for ~200 notes in notebook) but as i said.. its beta, so i hope, you will make it... good work!

It's a good idea, but lacks many updates. Formatting is buggy (Try some Bullet points, adding multiple Checkboxes on a list, or play with Header/highlighting) and now when I click on "Copy note link" it just copy the Article title rather than the NAS' URL.

Great app. But editing experience could be better. Like Google Docs or Microsoft Office Online. Also feature to edit and view documents .doc and .docx would be amazing so that I can edit those documents without downloading them.

Please fix the "synology quick connect feature." I am unable to connect via my "quick connect id." Via my local IP everything is working fine.

Can anyone tell me how to LOGOUT from the app? When I close and sign out of Google Chrome, and open NOTE STATION shortcut by itself, it pulls my account. I share the PC and don't want the world viewing my notes. I see UNLINK but not SIGN OUT Other than that it's functional, as usual synology puts lackluster effort into the apps people want and use the most so "good job" doing something but it would be nice to see more effort put into it and create an actual app so I don't have to use chrome.

Not bad at all but please save the column WIDTH for notes list and notebooks list. VERY ANNOYING, I MUST RESIZE IT at each launch. - please add keys shortcuts! - Improve the search speed
