I'm a long-term user of hippovideo and hate to give a bad rating but I really don't like the new update which has completely ruined this extension. It doesn't save my settings, it closes tabs when I pause the recording. It doesn't take me to the video page inside hippovideo anymore, so now I have to navigate there manually each time after recording. It was really easy to use before, now it's a nuisance. Please bring the old extension back.

"The script completed but the returned value is not a supported return type." Bruh...

Worked only once & Wanted you to pay for a 10second download.

Horribly and obnoxious product. They force you thru a ton of idiotic personal questions that are completely necessary.

I'll change this review if customer support can get back to me. But the plugin stopped working this weekend. I can record videos, but if I click on the hippo icon in the plugins bar, it just hangs and never connects. So I can't access any of the controls I used to have access to there. Might switch back to Loom. This is a great product when it works, but that's the thing - Loom just works.

This app is horrible, I hated it, You know why? When i download the extension it was clean and really easy to work with,but after a few months (or days) Its laggy and glitchy EVERY time i try to record, it suddenly CRASHES, WHY? I HAVE GOOD NETWORK!!! this extension DISGUSTS ME!!! I have even more negative WORDS FOR THIS!!.

Doesnt work at ALL it reloaded all my pages and it never let me create a video . I got this because my last video recorder got disabled . I would rather have nothing .

This is terrible it crashed every time and I couldn't even edit.

Crashed then once i had made a video i was not able to watch it.

hacks and overlays gmail, extorting wont let me send mail, fakes a send button to popup

Couldn't hear the sound of my project on Pro Edit sometimes, super annoying.

It only would record one tab and it wouldn't stop recording when I tried to cancel the recording.

When i recorded the video it wouldn't let me upload. Apparently i needed to upgrade to publish my video. I am never using this app again

Basically, You NEED TO PAY so THAT YOU CAN HAVE NO WATERMARK which is So Dumb. When A Blogger Uses This for Some Gaming Purposes, ITS NOT WORTH IT. Im telling you that if youre a Kid-blogger dont use it, Use Loom Instead, NOT WORTH IT.

I recorded for about 40 minutes, tried saving the videos to my google drive, but then it stopped and now my screen recordings are gone! I HATE THIS EXTENSION!

The 1st time I tried to use it, it caused my internet to go down and then reset. It felt like I was being hacked or something. Will never use this again.

Only works occasionally. When it does, my voice sounds like some kind of demon and the audio gets cut short at the end. The extension keeps requiring me to login over & over & over again. Extremely frustrating as I have the paid version of this junk.

I hate it!!! It doesn't let me download the video. Its hard to be a Youtuber.

It is useless. I went to go add permissions for my microphone and webcam and it said that it was giving me the pop up on Chrome, however, I did not see a single pop up in any of the places that it would have popped up. Therefore, it does not work and I am going to remove it from Chrome. Try using Screencastify instead (not paid to say that last part, but that is the only screen recorder that works for me.)

I hated it nothing loads when i try to open it and it makes my computer laggy i kinda liked it at first but it kept on getting worse to the point that it was way to laggy for my computer and the app its self

Also, having trouble starting app in record after allowing permission/access. Go in loops, same request allow and I don't recall gave us and using a free app that is amazing wonderful. Reminds me still paying fee to use this app. Sorry but 1 Star.

this is a very bad extension to add to your chrome. i had trouble logging in to a account that was already made, plus when i tried to play a certin game it crashed. it also messes up my computer. DONT GET THIS EXTENSION

Worst thing ever. Its a nightmare to use due yourself a favor by saving your time and sanity by NOT downloading this horible excuse for a functioning video editor
