Description

Tired of closing the download bar after every download with the little close button in the right corner? Because Google couldn't handle to add a simple little hotkey for that, I gave you this extension to close it with ALT+W. You don't like the hotkey? Works as expected. But like others have already mentioned, it also clears the complete download history. Which is … not nice. I guess this is because there's no official programmatic way to simply just close the bar.

Was hoping for a shortcut that closes the download bar without clearing the Downloads list (which saves previous download location history) This does the same thing as Always Clear Downloads - except that one is automatic and you need to use a shortcut for this
