Getting an error every time I try it on brave or comet. The browsers are blocking this extention.
completely useless, the extension never works, can't sign in, can't fill the form, can't use it on applications I want to. Junk
What a joke of a tool. Wasted an hour to get it working. All the job links are either broken or it simply does not work. Please delete my data and profile. Thank you
This works as an autofill extension, making applications faster to fill out. THAT SAID, the AI functionality of 'tailoring' your resume for reach role is completely unusable and borderline fraudulent. The tool created metrics and statistics out of thin air, making my resume completely inaccurate. I'm mortified at the idea of thousands of users of this tool applying for jobs with completely made up experience and information (and I guess getting away with it). I tried the premium tool one single time and asked for a refund because of how made up it all was and was refused a refund for my payment. The support agent that I engaged via email told me I needed to give the AI better guardrails so that it wouldn't make up stuff like: “Only use my actual experience” “Avoid adding numbers or responsibilities I didn’t write” “Keep this concise and specific to the job description” If I'm paying $20 for a SINGLE WEEK of use, this AI-based tool should have these prompts built in. I wish I could get a refund, but they refuse. One star.
I purchased the Simplify+ version for a week ($20) to test it out, but it was not as good as I expected. First, it doesn’t answer all random application questions (e.g., Lever, Greenhouse, AshbyHQ, etc.). The “training” feature also didn’t work for me — I had to retype the same answers for similar questions from different companies every time, which was frustrating. Second, the autofill feature works on only a limited number of platforms. In comparison, JobWizard (which is free) works on far more sites, including Indeed, making it much more versatile. Of course, JobWizard also has its downsides, but at least you can get a solid experience without paying extra. With Simplify+, I felt like the paid version didn’t bring enough value to justify the price. Bottom line: If you’re looking for broader compatibility and a smoother autofill experience, JobWizard might be the better choice — especially since it’s free. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/jobwizard-ai-autofill-job/kbhgdbfkbgkokgkkdhnnlmkhnokjmfib
Doesn't work, prompting me to log in even though I am already logged in. Also even if i wasn't having the log in issue the extension doesn't support most websites, these reviews have to be fake.
The extension breaks in Brave browser. Raised an issue to the team but no response from anyone so far.
The autofilling doesn't work on most company webistes and I was promised a refund but then they decided not to give me a refund. It's scam. Don't waste your money.
How can i remove Michael Scott's resume from my add on and skip tutorial ? Its so annoying
Autofill doesn't work. And it's annoying me to apply for jobs with unnecessary widgets for every jobs page, and doesn't help me to have multiple resumes in the database
Why can't this job tracker detect company name and location? All other job trackers can do this
Be careful. 1) They sell your information online. 2) Even worse, you cannot delete your account and remove that information once provided to them.
doesnt work at all just wasted my time typing all the data into your form, then wont fill out simple linkedin apps. terrible
I would have given this application 5 stars, but it seems very suspicious. By default, it requires permission to 'read and change site data' on all sites. If you try to change this setting, it logs you out of the extension and only allows you to use its features if you grant it access to read and write data on all websites. This means it could potentially steal all your website passwords, emails, etc.
Too US-centric. If you're anywhere else you wont get any use out of this.
Trips at the start line lol. Says "Network request failed: Turn off any VPN & check internet connection". Can't even fill in my details and this is after it fails to parse my resume.
Did not work, a lot of the job postings are simply not suppoorted, don't waste your time
It doesnt work for the majority of job appications i've had so far.
Worked really well for a long time. But just the other day it started glitching out. Whenever I try to use it to fill out an application it just continually glitches and says its filled in and switches continually to "fill in application, application filled in" for no reason.
I doesn't autofill the application form on my end
This nonesense asks you to upload your resume then can't detect any information off of it so you have to fill it in yourself. What an amazing AI bot, the future is here ladies and gentlemen
I AM UNABLE TO ADD MY 10 , 12 BOARD AND PERCENTAGE AND WHE I AM SERCHING THE UNIVERSITY DIDNT PULL ANYTHING
I received an email from a recruiter saying my resume did not have any information. When I opened the attached resume I was shocked to see "UNDEFINED UNDEFINED" only in the resume. Black and white. I was a premium member, and was using the AI tool to tweak resumes and submit them to the applications (yes, I did have many resumes in their system). Turns out that, some emails hurt a lot more than "you are no longer being considered for this position" email. My many job applications in the last few days were ruined. Some people may be applying because it is fun, but some others may be just laid off and desperately needing a job to take care of self and the family. I DO RECOMMEND this extension for autofilling job applications so long as you read the selections it makes, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT for anything beyond that as of now. If they post features are vetted and tested, maybe. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Sent job applications' resume with UNDEFINED UNDEFINED in it. Auto fill on and off. Skills random. Resume tweak is I don't know what it is doing..
randomly pop up its webpage while i was visiting other sites
Completely useless for anyone living outside of the USA or a very limited list of cities, Why would you not allow global location search?
Sadly not as useful as it once was. The autofill seems to not work on many sites anymore.
Only useful if you're an American who studied a common degree. Neither my bachelor's or master's are options to select and we don't do GPAs in the UK so that part is useless too.
This is basically garbage because it doesn't know how to fill anything.
Very good extension... BUT for some reason uses more than 100% CPU all the time even when inactive. This is prolly a bug and if it is, devs please fix.
seems to randomly choose answers to protected statuses (gender, disability, vet, etc). _not_ answering these is a valid answer (even if it requires selecting the "I chose not to answer" box). this tool does not seem to support that capability, and has decided how it should answer for me. also worth noting: It does not seem to learn from the answers you select, it keeps making it's own choice.
Couldn't get by the second page of the set up. It insists you give the dates you started and finished college, info I haven't put on my resuem in years. Ridiculous.
It definitely saves time. But my frustration reached enough to open the chrome extension page and give them a 1 star. There is no option to set two or more races. Their list of colleges is incomplete and only has US universities – totally sidelining international students. Most the time the extension tries to fill the skills section and takes so long, that it's faster to fill it manually. Moreover, they assume that all students have just one profile and use that to apply to all kinds of jobs – the resume for a backend role would be much different from a frontend role. But they just use the same info and assume that that is the best way to apply. Recruiters don't care if you know React when you are applying for a backend job.
Got a couple of referrals and this app removed those referral codes from links and cookies! Hate this application! All my applications which were applied by referral are not valid anymore, because of this app changing it to their own referral code, I literally had an outburst when I got to know their behind the scene tricks to exploit your job application for their own gain! Don't use it, you will never get a reply from the recruiter!
I'll change this rating if it will actually work for the jobs that they post. Not a single job I've saved on their site has allowed the auto-fill feature (which was the selling point of the app). If I wanted to manually fill out all these applications, I would just use indeed.
This extension always tries to change the job application URL to include "source=simplify" regardless of whether you actually heard this job from Simplify. This is incredibly abusive and should not be part of the tool.
This is great... if you're in the coding business or sales. Does not work for Electronic Technicians or blue collar work. Disappointed that once again the world is only worried about code monkeys.
It requires you to put in your birthdate and year you graduated a university. No American job will ever ask for you birthdate and they won't ask what year you graduated. The birthdate ask, is just their way of storing your information to sell to others, plain and simple. The graduation date can be used by employers for discrimination. You also can't opt out of the EOE information, which again is for selling demographic information!
Only finds jobs in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, London, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Philadelphia, ,San Diego, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver, Washington D.C. and Remote (in US) , remote (outside US). If you want a job in office anywhere outside of these cities this extension is useless. Very disappointed that St. Louis was not even included. Hope you guys can expand and make this better in the future.
Doesn't support Anadolu University and won't let me type it manually; only lets you select "Other".
Not working in any of the job application pages I visited so far. Wasted much time filling details in this plugin.
This only appears to work for jobs searchable through the website's database. I work in the medical industry and no jobs are listed inside this company's database for the medical industry. There is no "help" option or contact to reach out to for assistance.
Forces almost all fields to be required fields, rather than accepting partial information. Don't want to enter the date that you started at a specific company? Too bad. Fields such as College Major are forced to be one of the pre-selected choices or just "Other", no option to write in my own answer. Overall plugin is highly inflexible. Do not recommend.
Waste of time, buggy, isn't working. After I took almost a hour to fill all the data because the "fill with linkedin" isn't working, the extension didn't worked on any of the positions I applied to.
Simplify is not working since 2 days. Already reported the issue multiple times. But no update. Pop up not showing anymore for the sites it used to.
No longer working on Chrome & Edge since last update, tested on 2 computers and 2 accounts. The extension icon could change to aqua while there's no longer pop ups
its not working today it was working yesterday......................tell me if have any solution............................please help me............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
>AI job application extension >Doesn't ATS your work experience Had to edit my review to 1 star. The bugs are out of control. Sometimes it just runs continuously on a loop filling the same page over and over, but typically it just waits until I change one field then re-runs once to erase my changes. Additionally, it consistently autocorrects full into my last name. I have no idea why they thought we would want a rogue autocomplete on top of the autofilling, but there's not an option to disable or customize that in the extension settings. They're also missing some of the common fields for the more annoying job sites, and their buttons clutter LinkedIn quite a bit.
paid for premium and it stopped working on linkedIn one click to auto update resume for keyword match, didn't reply to emails from other addresses which means they don't seem to care.
It works, but only if you allow it to read and change site data on all sites. It does not work if you try to give it permission for only a single tab or site (doing so logs you out of the extension and you can't log back in until you enable access on all sites). I contacted the company and a founder responded saying they're committed to privacy and transparency, but did not give me any proof (e.g. a 3rd-party evaluation, open source codebase, acknowledgement of the issue and intent to resolve it, etc). I understand that the extension needs to be able to access a large and changing list of job sites and so declaring those upfront when you install the extension would be inconvenient, however I do not understand why a user shouldn't be able to manually give it access to only a single job site at a time. There's no reason the extension should need access to a banking site, email, etc. Optimally, the extension codebase would be open source because job applications contain sensitive information. But my other concern is the bare minimum for the extension IMO.
You can have many edits and you should add an option for adding our own resume.
