Didn't work. Wheel just keeps spinning in center of video but never plays anything. Once it did play it's all silence. Tested on 2 videos no luck.

The extension doesn't work, it keeps asking for authorization instead of translating.

I tried watching something in Hindu, sound quality of the video is good but It's dubbing total gibberish. Maybe it works with other languages I didn't try. I think the language detection isn't working great so it was useless for me

recently I'm not sure if there have been any updates, the dubbing system is identifying most videos as music videos while they are actually discussion videos. It's terrible to be paying and have such irresponsible updates, with no place at all to submit feedback.

Why is it randomly speeding up and slowing down the video? no point changing the playback speed because it will just change by itself randomly. Captions will pop up when there's no one talking and no letters on the screen because the video is either ahead or behind of the captions.

The quality is super bad. You literally can't hear the original audio track and the music because of the dubbing.

This is false advertising by using a misnomer. DUBBING is a performance and a production process. A single AI person doing all voices — regardless of gender — is not considered DUBBING in any professional context. It is rather a simple voice-over translation. So all the video sounds are removed and you only get a simple AI reading of the CCs. Removing the original voices, keeping the ambiental sounds then adding adequate voices is easily feasible with today's AI. Using the YouTube automated translated CCs is better than this extension that uses a voice that spoils the whole video. Verdict: useless.

the extension is great but i notice that it makes youtube very slow and heavy it feels like I am using 2 gb ram pc but when i delete it the youtube retruned fast

Speaker recognition is not working for me. When multiple speakers are added, the video is till dubbed by the default voice for all speakers, even after I get the 2 confirmation emails saying the video is ready. Can you please help?

I have found that this add-on (Youtube-Dubbing) is crashing Brave Browser after 10 to 20 seconds of use. I had to discontinue use. It still works fine on FF and Zen.

The concept is fabulous and very useful. But............ - I’m a little annoyed that I can’t choose which videos to activate it on and which ones not to. - I’d like to be able to decide what to do, like if I only want subtitles or just the audio. - Once it’s activated on a video, I can’t turn it off. - I don’t quite understand, but when the video starts playing, it gets slow for a moment and then goes back to normal.
