extension is quite confusing in some cases showing me the blank page(sometimes), clicking on extension landing me to browserstack site for login instead of showing me the on selected browsers, it should have proper communication as well that login is required to use the extension.
I'm a developer and i just want to test my localhost website frontend on different browsers, this tool if for deployed websites
I didn't want or need this, I was forced to install it. I use BrowserStack as a web app, it does NOT require an extension to run. Terrible move to force paying users to install. As Marco Blum said below: "you can do directly to: https://live.browserstack.com/dashboard and bypass the need for the extension" It also appears if you click "Get Extension" and wait for a bit it will fail to detect the extension and a button will appear which will allow you to continue anyway.
do not force people to install extensions, an alternative way to do it is fine. but bruteforcing it like this, is a bad feeling. for anyone else looking, you can do directly to: https://live.browserstack.com/dashboard and bypass the need for the extension.
safari not available!!!
I don't want to have to download a chrome extension to keep using your services, the person who took this awful decision is actively trying to antagonize your userbase
Forcing an extension to be installed to continue using their service - great idea! Who approved this decision?
This does not enable local testing on ChromeOS
Unable to add browsers / devices to quicklaunch in Browserstack for a while, so this issue make this browser add on useless as the default browsers were not pertinent for me.
Honestly It didn't even run nor open, Kinda disappointed after looking for an extension like this so long.
Disappointing. Installed it thinking it would be a quick way to launch BS and test any page. When I launch it from the page I want to test, it loads one of my other open tabs instead of the one I launched it from.
Not working with local testing. Paid version.
It opens the simulator but it doesn't even go to the correct page..
most stupidest thing ever i tried to do this for roblox but it kept saying my password was wrong when i knew that was my password fix the stupid its annoying not going to change my password for nothing
Very Bad
Doesn't works as expected. It just open BrowserStack website, and doesn't transport the requested URL
I have been in contact with support over the past 3 days because I can't get past the "Optimizing for Performance" step. Error: We could not connect to the remote device due to network conditions. Please try again. They had me try a few things with disabling chrome extensions but it didn't work. I tried the site with Firefox but Firefox flags the SSL as invalid and won't load the site. *Paid version; live Mobile local testing doesn't work but non-live testing does. However, the new phone versions are not available on the non-live test options.
horrible
its useless
wrost
i cant buy a plan and everytime i click one it says that it cant connect with my remote device
In the paid version, local testing not working.
This is bad application. After installation periodically opening pages, those that I do not want to see. it's like a virus.
Blocks almost all websites.
When i Login with user it gives me message 0 mins left on your Free Trial. Buy a plan to test on all browsers But the same login when other user tries for them it is working fine. I know this login user use one at a time. Please suggest to resolve
Cannot add simulators to Quick Launch...
Broken in Chrome 75
The local testing icon is showing red triangle all the time now. Clicking on it shows "Enable Local Testing". The button redirects to the "BrowserStack Local" extension page. There is no "Add to Chrome" button but only a "Launch App" button regardless to the fact of I haven't installed that extension. Clicking on the "Launch App" button redirects to browserstack.com. I reinstalled this extension and the local testing still doesn't work.
why when i sign in or signing up it took so long
It would be really helpful if you could add other than chrome browser to quick launch. For example: I want to test my app on old Android 4.4 built in browser, but it always adds chrome to quick launch, even though I dragged it using samsung browser icon
BrowserStack is OK. I happily pay money for it, as it's certainly better than wrangling virtual machine images or maintaining a dusty shelf of devices. This extension has stopped working, though. When I click on a quick launch item, nothing happens. So I have to go to browserstack.com, and then manually navigate to the web page I want to test.
it keeps crashing when i try to use it
