cache clearing tool, didnt have Calculating of Cache space ... PFFFF ))))
This review is only available with a PLUS subscription.
It also deleted cookies for the exception domains, which caused inconvenience. I downloaded it precisely because it has the exception domains option.
one star because the 'plus' features are free in the competition called 'Cleaner'. Cleaner also has a higher rating.
The extension is described as having an "intuitive UI", but it most certainly doesn't. I wanted to exclude a number of domains fully -- meaning essentially "*.domain.com" for each. But how is this done? Can it be done? If you add "*.domain.com" in the "intuitive UI", it is automatically changed to "https://.domain.com". If you enter "domain.com", it is automatically changed to "https://domain.com". Are all subdomains also excluded in either case? I didn't feel like finding out the hard way. Also, I wanted an extension that could clear automatically; on a schedule, and when I start the browser. But neither of these is an option with this extension, unless you pay for a subscription. A subscription for an extension that clears your browser? Give me a break.
Can't execute
This is a great extension, especially if your cache filling up is slowing down your browsers or computer. For work, I normally have multiple browsers running with heavy RAM usage and high cache on a very high-end computer, and the cache still noticeably slows things down. This is far more noticeable on my Android phone, which I also have this installed on. I love that you can have this clear cache, cookies, and other things automatically every so often. I am giving this extension a one-star rating because, even though I paid for a year subscription and feel it's excellent, the fact that I have to sign into it on every single browser I use every day and have to go to my email to retrieve a code every time is so annoying that I stopped using it almost immediately after buying it. Other extensions where you just one-click it and it gets the job done are far more desirable for me. It doesn't matter how good your software is if the user doesn't want to even log in.
A paid extension to clear the cache... really. smh
Had to uninstall it as the creator has gone all Greedcorp and now has PLUS version. Was just a simple app that.. cleared the cache, now features are paywalled.
Sorry for bad rating but theres no button to clear it
I clicked the button and it just cleared all cache and cookies from all the tabs. Thanks for ruining my morning
installed this extension for its capebilitys of clearing cash of only certain domains but funtion does not exist / is not easy to be found in less than 10/15 minutes
Non-stop pop-up windows, advertising windows of this software, really annoying, decisive uninstallation
garbage
It deletes all the passwords(passwords.google.com). It should warn about that when you select "Form Data" or "Password". I am still not sure which option I selected caused the deletion of all passwords.
Stopped working with the new Chrome update Version 74.0.3729.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)
mac Google Does not support?
Installed this to clear cache for just one or two domains. Ended up clearing all of my cache, defeating the purpose.
Does nothing
I was hoping to delete only for current page. Accidently deleted everything due to not having clear wording or warning.
my cpu always 99%, i don't know why...
Adsware auto insert.
Dont work (if I try clear only cache, plugin doesnt do anysing)
Nothing work
fulish
automatically installs, can't delete
It hasn't worked since I was forced to download Windows10 :(
Cookies can either be removed globally, only for ********certain domains******** or for everything except for certain domains. How? I don't find any option for this and this extension remove all my cache data. What a joke!
Doesn't work at all anymore. Doesn't store settings. Was working great for a while....now it doesn't work at all.
There needs to be a setting to clear only the current site instead of the entire browser.
Used to love this tool but ever since installing the upgrade on Win 7 it just hangs. Have to kill the browser and start again. Have removed it now.
This extension does not fully clear your cache!
Didn't work at all and kept asking for donations, Also made my chrome snail paced slow.
Not works.. I missed my 2 leads for this apps and got banned from survey site.. :( Now who will pay my $75 back!
rubbish built in to place adds on webpages
Claims to be able to clear cache for particular domains. It cleared my entire browser's cache, along with other types of stored data, that now has me having to sign back into every service that I use. Open devtools, right-click on reload, and select 'clear cache & hard reload'
Go to chrome://cache and click the button to clear your cache. Then reload the page. Surprise! It did not clear the cache at all!
Too intrusive. Why would an extension want to track my web browsing? Avoid this crap!
- Doesn't fully remove Chrome's cache. After cleaning, when I run ccleaner, it finds a lot of files (~110MB) from Chrome caches. - Doesn't clear the "Most Visited" websites. After cleaning the last viewed pages still showed up. - Doesn't delete the history of any typed url's in the address bar. When I type something in the URL bar, it shows previous searches. It's useless...
It's a good extension, but I was very upset by the unexpected behavior - despite the fact that I activated the "Active Tab Only (Only clear data for the current tab)" function, data was still deleted from all sites.
does not show the calculation of occupied space for each cache type
I used to love this extension when it worked only on the domain/tab you're looking at. Now it clears all tabs/domain history. There must have been a chrome update that restricted/removed the really valuable use case.
It says that you can clear the cache "only for certain domains" but there is no option for that. That would be SUPER handy if it could have done that.
Where's is the option to only clean current tab???????? I used to use it to only clear cache from my current tab which is my website not all my data....
I do web development and I'm still seeing the old changes. I adjusted the setting to remove everything even cookies but still Unable to clear the catch. I am forced to use incognito just to see my changes! completely useless.
Did not work.
Consumes 250mb in extension memory, not reliable, can't clear cache completelly
Indexed db stays uncleared after the refresh. It is selected in the options
This works just like it says and it does. It deletes every thing it's supposed to with one click. I used click and clean before and other privacy extensions, but they do not get rid of everything. I use them and still have chache and some cookies left, but with this, almost everything is gone.
I honestly can't tell if this ever really worked. Yes, it would refresh the page, but that is all it seemed to do. I can't really blame this extension since Chrome's cache is the bane of any web designer's existence. But if I can't get consistent results from this app, there's no need to use it.
