it is worst i was satisfied by the GIF's but when i try to upload any GIF to any messaging application then it uploads a link instead of a GIF.It doesn't even work for any applications or in Gmail too.I would rate it 0 Stars if i could .

it Doesnt work anymore. Every time I try to add it to a goole doc or google slide, it doesn't add at all!!! It's a shame...

This extension has been taken over by a malware maker. DO NOT INSTALL UNTIL THIS HAS BEEN FIXED. UNINSTALL IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THIS EXTENSION.

there is a really stupid problem. everytime i click the extension, it doesn't adjust itself according to the screen's resolution. as a result, i cannot access the search text box because it gets hidden by my task bar. (-.-")

I tried to use it on facebook and you can only see the link not the gif. Also I can't scroll to get to the other gifs at the bottem.

Tried to use it on FB. It copied and pasted the link, but no actual gif I tried 4 times. I won't waste anymore time trying.

Came here to say the exact thing others have said: 1. You can only preview gifs in tiny form. 2. You cannot click and go to a larger version. 3. You need to paste giphy's url into the url bar and go to that page to then right click and copy the direct link (because what they show as "copy link" is not the direct one). Good idea but horrible experience. Uninstalling it now.

YOU CAN NOT COPY AND PASTE THE IMAGE. You have to copy the URL, then paste it into a new browser window. Then right click and copy image if you want to paste THE ACTUAL IMAGE into an email or somthing else. What's the point of this extension if it gives me extra work to accomplish what I want to do? Thanks for your hard work, Giphy team but I am afraid this is missing the most important feature I want from this extension.

Okay you can not drag a gif animation in chat or comment on DeviantArt so i wont use it. all what you can is to use link as web address which a people need to go to their page to see a animation. And that is not a point

Used to be great, but know whenever I try to put a gif into Hipchat, it uploads it as a .png file instead of a .gif.

Just downloaded it and tried to send a gif to my friends. I move it to my emeail and even to my watsapp but instead of a gif i get an image... Am i doing something wrong? It said "Drag&drop" and thats wat i did...

Used to work just fine with drag and drop into IRC Client chats like IRCCLOUD, but as of recent, dragging and dropping no longer seems to work. Every time I try to drag an image/emoji into the chat edit box area (where you type text), nothing happens... [previously would paste the embedded URL there and I'd just have to hit ENTER to send]. Using latest version of Google Chrome. Please fix! This is a 5 star browser extension if it works like it used to, again. Thanks!

Seems like drag&drop on GitHub comments doesn't work anymore after the recent update. Github will treat it as normal links and no previews will be shown automatically. :(

Won't work with the Google Hangouts extension. I can drag and drop in the hangouts from my gmail but not to the Hangouts extension.

needs to expand giphy site links. Doesn't actually support drag and drop to e.g. github comments.
