Bug: this extension blocks subtitles stream for other useful extension, like Double Subtitles (hkbdddpiemdeibjoknnofflfgbgnebcm) so, internal option detect double subt - do not work All other apps that work with subs, also blocked
Something has happened to the app recently. The deep L experimental translation is fine but the Google engine translation does not seem to be accurate at all. And the graphic settings also changes on different websites automatically. Like the set font will be as is on one website but will automatically be something different on another website. I kindly request that developers of this app to fix it please.
Translation on mouse over and select don't working after last update at all. It was my favourite chrome extension, but now it becomes useless.
I don't know why it stopped to working well. At first it was awsome but sometimes it never responses or takes too long to response. I left 1 start to trigger the dev to fix it quickly.
Bad experience ever
This was a perfect thing that I've ever used but receantly there is a problem. I use this extension via selecting texts but when you want to see the translated text with selecting you need to; 1. Select word that you want to translate. 2. Click somewhere else. 3. Do same thing with step 1 4. And see the result That was not like that I thing there is a bug please fix it. After fix I will update my review to 5 stars. Good luck.
It's getting worse every day and its features are decreasing. I really don't know why I blame the developer of this disaster on this good software. For example, before you could change many sounds in the English language, but now it only limits you to one and that one doesn't work at all. I really regret this software.
Add IPA Pronountiation, that's good Idea to read when you are DEAF
You have to add IPA Pronounciation, that's ways make be understand, don't just listening. Please, Developer help us!!
Bad experience. Can't read pdf and not working sometimes. The tooltip don't disappear forever till I click the blank space.

I liked this extension, until I found it is the thing that caused my text to automatically be translated to English each time I switch language. It was an absolute nightmare. I never changed any settings in this extension, it started a few months after I installed it so I didn't suspect. It freaked me out and killed my productivity.
It works one of ten of time! I don't know what developers are doing.

If your Chrome suffers from taking high CPU rate, just disable this extension. This extension takes high CPU rate especially you browse facebook.

Looks like this extension is detected by Linkedin as automation tool, and they will restrict your Linkedin account for using it. Please fix it.

Image OCR functions extremely poorly. Sadly do not need any other features.
No longer really works. It just flashes the translation on and off, constantly. Oddly enough, it uses a Sans Serif font when I choose Tooltip Position: Follow, but a Serif font is I choose Tootip Position: Fixed.
At first I was so excited about this app but then I realized it was modifying my text in textarea boxes, translating the text, and removing new lines and spaces (trimming) the text. So I had to remove it after much frustration.
I loved the extension, but I don't like how it messes with my settings. I had to manually disable each of my extensions to figure out which one was causing my YouTube captions to stay permanently on. It was this one. After only disabling this extension, the problem is fixed, and when I enable it, the problem comes back. I have no idea why this extension is messing with YouTube settings, but I'd love an explanation since I use the extension all the time. To be specific, it is turning my YouTube subtitles on every time I click a video.
Unable to select texts in PDFs after update.
Its good, but with csp on page its bad. I set csp on my page, and there is iframe too on that page So this extension gives me error Console error : viewer.js:15097 webviewerloaded: SecurityError: Blocked a frame with origin "chrome-extension://hmigninkgibhdckiaphhmbgcghochdjc" from accessing a cross-origin frame.
This ext was a real interesting one. Was nice seeing translation just by hovering over texts. But at times, it turned out to be more of a hinderance rather than a boon since it only translates one line or sentence at a time. And I have no idea how exactly it behaves. So I usually end up highlighting and copy/pasting texts into a translator anyways. Still, this ext was a not bad novelty idea. But the real deal breaker for me in giving it a very low score and ultimately deleting this ext (right after this review) is that it broke Youtube vids on Twitter. At first, like with a certain incident with another extension that gave me problems, I thought it was my Vivaldi browser. But like with said another incident that caused me to mistake the browser for being the problem and then it actually turned out to be the extensions' fault, I came to suspect that it was another extension problem based on that previous experience. And sure enough, when I went down through lists of the extensions that I downloaded, this was the culprit. It doesn't do anything to the Youtube vids on the actual site, but on Twitter, it gives me this annoying white box covers the entire left half side of the vid. And that's a no-go. I don't wanna have to keep opening up vids in the actual Youtube site just to watch/enjoy them. I'm sorry, but this extension has to go. Real shame.
why it doesnt work for pdf anymore ? thank you for your doing good job . it's most powerful and useful extension for chrome . and for using this extension , i'm using chrome now , for reading pdf and other web pages .. well done
I can not figure out how to use this at all. I've adjusted and re-adjusted the settings so many times and nothing is working. Somebody tell me what I need to do D;
Mouse forward/back buttons no longer work in Chrome, when this extension is installed. Otherwise a good extension.
where's import after donwload csv of the history
There are times that when you stop your mouse on a blank page(idle) it shows "google is broken" Please do remove this or add a restart option on your plug-in
The voice feature has an issue when using Hover + Shortcut. It only reads the first three words and then stops instead of reading the entire sentence.

It was perfect before the latest updates, now there's a problem with the "Voice When:Always" option, when I hover over a word it pronounces the word, but when I hover over another word it repeats the previous word or part of it before Pronouncing the new word.
Hello, Feedback: 1. The Image OCR feature performs poorly and does not provide accurate results. 2. In addition, this feature (Image OCR) temporarily interrupts the system's performance by requiring large system resources. 3. The content of Sidebar extensions like QuillBot can not be translated. 4. In the QuillBot writing interface, within the section for rephrased sentences, you need to adjust the 'Mouseover Text Type' setting to 'Sentence' mode to enable full sentence translation. 5. The Reverse Translate Language feature is completely non-functional for the Persian language. 6. Activating the Dual Subtitle feature causes languages like Persian, which are normally written from right to left, to be displayed from left to right. This disrupts the sentence structure, and there is no available option to correct this issue. 7. Moreover, with certain PDF texts that visually seem to be composed of paragraphs but are in fact made up of fragmented lines, this translator is unable to treat these lines as a unified whole. As a result, it proceeds to translate each line separately, failing to provide a translation of the entire paragraph as a coherent unit. Suggestions: 1. Adding OCR and translation feature for Hardcode subtitles, also known as, burned-in subtitles, or forced subtitles embedded in online videos. 2. Adding the feature to directly and instantly copy the translated text if needed. 3. Adding the feature to substitute the original text with its translation, essentially showing the translated text instead of the original. 4. Expanding the selection of shortcut keys could prove to be a beneficial enhancement. Overall, the extension offers useful functionality and fast performance.

It's a good extension. Helps me a lot. But unfortunately the OCR does not seem to perform very well. The one on my iphone is better. Then again, I don't know the state of open source OCRs, or the limitations of one being called through the browser.
Causing very slow page loading on bing chat (bing.com). I think I can exclude the entire site, but the cause of the slowdown needs to be fixed.
