Checker Plus for Google Calendar™

After the last update, the available notification sounds became limited, and the previous default sound was changed without any explanation and is now behind a contribution paywall. The new default and only available notification sound has a very low volume.

Can't resize the calendar pop-up.

Needs Reconnect on BRAVE. I was using this with Chrome and it is working great, but recently moved to Brave and installed this. The issue is that it lost the connection everyday, and I reconnect it. That when I forgot, I totally forgot events. I'm using the Gmail Checker, it is working fine with Brave, so may it is the extension issue not the browser. Sorry for low rate, but needs this be fixed!

Sorry Jason, but you need better instructions and your youtube links need to be marked un-private. Not impressed so far.

We hate to leave a negative review because this extension did everything we needed it to...until we paid for it. Then it stopped working almost completely. We had to refresh and reboot multiple times a day. We missed several appointments (because we were relying on this extension), which was inconvenient and embarrassing. Again, it worked great, and did everything we needed from it, until we paid. If this extension is working for you, DON'T PAY for it, that might ruin a good thing. We hope the developer will find a way to fix the glitches keeping the extension from stalling out because we haven't found a better solution out there than this one (when it works).

So I can't delete anything on my calendar unless I give you a "donation"? Yeah, I'll just delete this scammy app and find another developer that isn't quite so scammy. Later, scammer.

Something is off with syncing. In google calendar all events with an AM time get switched in this extension to a PM time and vice versa. It makes all my events in the extension inaccurate.

useless at least u contrubute, so its not free. it cost 10 euros at least. it sucks.

i hated it bc i didn't let me put down more than 1 special occasions.

for basic simple functions of an online calendar you have to "Contribute" i'd be happy to if it was something that required more effort. Don't even bother downloading and wasting your time with this app (it's just a money grabber)

The new permissions require that the extension has full access to your browsing history. Not cool. And there is no explanation given that can be easily found on the dev website as to why they require full access to your browsing history and how will they ensure they don't maliciously use it or sell it.

Something happened and the icon stop appearing at my toolbar. When i try to run extension manually the icon will appear only for three seconds and then will be gone again. Pls fix it.

With red button can't add event for specific day. Not clicking on exact date, with plus button we should be able to select date at least manually.

keeps telling me I am not using a stable channel of google chrome when I am.

Scheduled one item on it just fine. On the second try to put a task/event on the calendar, it asks for money, and then will not save the calendar item. Renders it useless. Completely pointless. Also had some developer's website pop up in another tab - find this intrusive and not at all what I'd want in a quality extension.

Absolute trash, buggy pop ups everywhere to try to force users to pay money, and keeps crashing my chrome browser, DO NOT INSTALL!

Sadly, the latest version is broken on my PC. I wish I could find version 21.1.5 because that one worked perfectly and I LOVED it. Now I can't use the extension. No joy.

You have to PAY for it, even though it says it's free. I'll just use google calender.

Why would you need permissions to read the browser history? We recently had massive privacy issues when everyone figured out that "Web of Trust" was selling this data, allowing buyers to get access to e.g. confidential URLS and allowing the identification of the person who this data originated from, such as LinkedIn profiles.

I might love it, but everytime I try to bring it up, I get the goodle store. Where is the calendar!!!!

Just installed this & tried to add a facebook event. It asked me to let it read my fb events, which I did, it asked to add the event to my calendar, but when I did I got "no token response found for email: undefined". Went to the "support" site & there's nowhere to ask a question. I'll go back to adding my events manually... Oh yes - and I've uninstalled the extension.

This was useful until this morning, when it started INJECTING ADS INTO MY SEARCH RESULTS. Listen, I know you have to make money somehow, and I'm fine with ads IN THE EXTENSION, but HANDS OFF THE REST OF MY STUFF, goddammit.

most of the time doesn't work at all, anything you want to use, immediately a pop up emerges and ask if you want to upgrade to pro, useless!

I loved this extension until recently. Now, when I click the star to bookmark a website in Chrome, I get a popup from this extension!? I have to disable the extension in order to bookmark websites. Please fix!!!!

You have to pay if you want to add an event to your calendar. Adding an event to your calendar is one of the most basic things a calendar app should be able to do.

Try the "Black Menu for Google" app, much more useful all around. Cannot create/delete events without "donation". If you want to have a paid app, have a paid app. This bait and switch method (especially the whole SORRY NO-DOING WITHOUT MONEY page when trying) is heinous. I'd rather use another app that tells me I am going to pay for the most useful feature up front.

Another extension that just doesn't work for me.

This used to be a very useful tool, as I used the popup function to remind me to pay bills. Now, I can't tell if it is working or not, and I never see the popup. I have been late on my bills the last week because I forget to check the calendar every day (that is why I used the POPUP!!!) All my fault of course, but just a warning that this is just not a useful tool anymore.

I actually really like this extension, but after myself and several others I've seen here reporting that CTRL + D is interfering with a very commonly used DEFAULT browser shortcut and nothing gets done about it, I'm rating it at 1 star. Not only that, but if you turn off the keyboard shortcut, it turns itself back on after updates. AND you have to turn it off on EVERY computer you use after EVERY update. TURN IT OFF BY DEFAULT!!! If I want to use it, I'll enable it myself.

I cannot add an event in the prompt. Whatever I input I cannot see anything.

the right click date recognition doesnt work. Adding "Dinner at 6pm on the 26th" or similar, just ssems to add an event for right now.

The impossibility to add an event in 30 days time in the preview is quite depressing.

Needed the add to calendar feature... but was presented with flaming contribution popup tabs for every single feature.... This is Pointless...

Would be 5 stars if you removed the gmail checker ad in the notification. It COVERS the title of my notification so I can not see what my notification is. As soon as I click the ad (and the ad goes away) it looks "normal" like it should. Until its fixed, it is useless, so only 1 star.

Doesn't work well with a company calendar. I'm attending less than half of my company's meetings but this extension will count down to every last one of them. There's meetings I'm not attending directly before meetings I'm attending so this feature is useless to me. I may just revert back to a pinned calendar tab. I can't even subscribe for the features I want.

Notifications keep poping up, though I already dismissed them..

I cannot get this to work properly. Inconsistent notifications so I deleted it from chrome and now google calendar will not show notifications even though it is set to show notifications. No idea why this is happening.
