Explain and Send Screenshots

After adding the text or an arrow it is not possoble to move the text or arrow after. So it is hard to use. It is possible to move it around while you edit the text...but the text block keeps moving and cannot place it anymore. Really bugged!

man. this used to be a good little tool. now it displays text and url into your screenshot and you need to pay to remove that. good tool ruined by greed

a watermark text for a screenshot ? removed

In full page capture crop tool selection is bugging as hell, and extension able to crash. Cant select more area then actually visible and unable to modify selection. Zoom is not zoom, it shrinks image, so cant zoom out to select more area and save original dimensions.

I paid 2 times on 2 different computers to remove the watermark. However, the Watermark is back on one of my computer. So why did I pay? Seriously? I paid a donation on my laptop a few months ago that works fine. I paid also a donation on my desktop and the watermark was removed for a few days but now is back.

I used to LOVE this extension, and I think the author is very talented. But a recent update has added a "watermark" to every screen shot. No thanks, that's just poor taste. It's presented as free, yet adds a watermark to coerce you to pay money for it. There are plenty of other screenshot extensions available (for free) with no watermarks. This is really a disappointment, I hope he doesn't try and force monetize his other extensions.

NOW it only grabs the left half of the captured part. But there is ALWAYS something not working right, them you have to pay money to get rid of the watermark, whereas you don't pay anything on other apps that do the same thing!

Doesn't record. NOT WORTH DOWNLOADING PEOPLE.

He thinks this is worth contributing a donation to unlock features when there is so many better addons that are full featured for free. It's not the biggest innovation ever created. Create something NEW then ask for donations to unlocl features. You cant call something free and then hide the fact that it's not under the word "donation" or "contribute". It still means "not free". 1 star

No means to capture to the clipboard. Useless without that.

Many good features require supporting the developer to enable. Not even a trial period to see if you'd like to use the features. 1 star for lack of complete usability.

Opens an ad page upon download AND screenshots have watermarks if you don't pay the developer. You made a screenshot app in your spare time buddy, stop trying to monetize it.

CANNOT grab whole page!!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! if I try to scroll to grab more of the page, it AUTOMATICALLY grabs that "little portion" of the selected area and you CANNOT scroll with this!!!

It's GARBAGE! It doesn't work. I reloaded, refreshed, logged-off, restarted, retried etc... THIS product is GARBAGE! Don't waste your money or time. Use AWESOME SCREENSHOT!

Broken. Plugin locks when attempting to "Grab Entire Page".

There is no 1-click way to save am image after you you edited it. There is no way to modify annotations you did (placed an arrow and want to adjust it ? no way). As all other extensions, sends to Pixlr for editing, where there is no way to add even an arrow.

Screenshot by Google is much better. Very difficult to actually use the image - must save etc. Copy does not work!

Not good in high resolution screen, the picture will be 比例失调。

The watermark is very annoying and makes half of the images useless. No hotkeys. Pretty slow.

Does not let you capture more than you see from the screen.

It is good but the way you forced people to donate you to unlock several very much required feature is not good. This donation option should not be forced.

Unless you want header and footer, you have to pay. And, after you do, next time you clean your computer, you'd have to proove that you paid. Oh, and no warning that an automatic e-mail contained a code that you supposed to save...

It used to work great. Now Chrome prevents it from working. I think a fix and a new release is in order. Often times, I have disable the plugin, close my Chrome browser, re-open Chrome and enable the plugin in order to get it to work. It has a bug.

Works as it should. But "Awsome Screenshot" does the same thing, and it can even blur out text WIHOUT getting a waterprint at the top and buttom "because you didn't pay for it". Reomve those waterprints and, sure, make people pay for the other features but don't mess upp the pictures with ugly watermarks :(

My update since Jun 28, 2018 here in Jun 11, 2025. Revisted this extension since then. The video record option still can ONLY use audio from the MIC and won't capture the sound playing in the tab. Though it claims it can capture the playing video, it won't work for Youtube ones (obviously) and for the pages it does work on, it won't capture the sound portion. As for the screen image capture. Sorry you missed the mark on this extension. Love your Gmail one. Been using and donating for years now. But this capture tool fails the mark. I found using LightShot (WIN/MAC) - a small program that replaces the standard Print Scrn button capture the screen or a portion we select, add text, boxes or marks and then save. That is what this should have been but it's mediocre and maybe the video options should have been left out of this as they don't quite work as we would like it to.

I used this app for 2-3 weeks and then it stopped working and said "taking screenshots has been disabled". I have reinstalled the extension twice and have reset my Chome browser settings. I literally used this multiple times a day for two weeks and then it just stopped working. Any ideas on how to fix it?

good , easy to use, like the pencil is large so i don't have to reset . minus for not able to capture out of browser. another minus for full page script error

I didn't notice the watermark but I guess it fine for me. The only thing missed is the ability to share videos. Yes, it has Youtube already but screenshots are not something that should be on youtube. I hope there will be a way to share without creating any account (just like sharing screenshots)

Huge watermark made it useless for me. To remove it, you need to pay, hence not free. Misleading. Other than that, the features seem to be nice, too bad of no application for me

I like the extension but it has some issues: 1-Do one zoom in and one zoom out, and instead of getting the same original picture, you get a blurred version. Repeat the process a few times and you'll see. 2-Instead of typing on a 1 character box and then adapt it to the text, it creates a long box that makes it difficult to type more words to the right.

Copy to clipboard doesnt work.

The menu bar of the viewer and image editor window too much space, so it's hard to use on the laptop. - Zoom feature is faulty. - Photos taken in ultra low-quality jpeg (lower than png selection)
