Description
Stream Notifier: Real-time Live Alerts for Twitch & Kick
⚡ Quick Install Steps
- Click “Add to Chrome” on the Chrome Web Store page.
- When prompted, choose Add extension.
- Open Chrome’s Extensions menu (puzzle‑piece icon) and Pin Stream Notifier so it’s always visible.
- When the extension asks for notification permission, click Allow so you can receive live alerts. If you skip this step, you can enable notifications anytime from the Settings tab inside the extension.
- Refresh any Twitch or Kick tab — the floating Streamers button will appear immediately and you’re ready to go. With the visibility options in Settings (such as Restrict to Twitch/Kick and Show Button on All Sites) turned off, the extension can also be used on any website after refreshing the page.

⭐ Overview
Never miss a moment. Stream Notifier is a lightweight, floating utility that lets you monitor the live status of your favorite streamers on Twitch and Kick from any tab in your browser.
🔑 Key Features:
Universal Overlay: A persistent, draggable "Streamers" button that expands into a dashboard, allowing you to check live status without leaving your current website.
Streamer Lists & Favorites: Manually add streamers to your tracking list or auto-detect them from your current page. Mark your top streamers as "Favorites" to keep them at the top of the panel. Listen to the stream audio, or preview it live on demand too!
Custom Streamer Profiles: Create and switch between multiple "Profiles" (e.g., "Gaming", "Work", "Late Night") to manage different groups of streamers for different times of day.
Excluded Domains: Includes a "Site Exclusion" feature that allows you to blacklist specific websites (domains or URL patterns) where you do not want the notifier button to appear.
Smart Notifications: Receive desktop push notifications when a tracked streamer goes live. Includes "cooldown" logic to prevent spam if a stream restarts.
Customization: Full dark mode support, holiday themes, custom color accents for Twitch/Kick, optional simplified UI, and adjustable panel opacity.
Privacy Focused: All streamer lists, profiles, and settings are stored locally on your device. No data is sent to external tracking servers.
🔐 Permissions Usage:
Storage: Used to save your Streamer Lists, Streamer Profiles, and Excluded Domains locally.
Notifications: Used to display system alerts when a stream goes live.
Host Permissions: Required to communicate with Twitch/Kick APIs to fetch live status and to display the floating dashboard on all pages.
