used to let me speed up to 10x for free and now a recent update forces you to pay for above 2x

This addon was awesome years ago when I could speed it up to 10x as a free user, so I may change the rating to 5 stars if it's brought back for free users. Otherwise, I'll be using cheat engine to speed things up if I need to. edit: I think I found a great (and free) alternative extension to this one called SpeedMaster Pro.

fine app, anything above 10x was paid. Now anything above 2x is paid, and doesn't work on half the pages anyway. Being used just to milk cash now.

Horrible experience. It was free for some time and it was awesome, but after some update it costs money as a subscription per month and doesn't work at all. I bought it, went through bizzare chain of emails from developer with codes, zip files of different versions of this extensions which I had to install manually, and none of them would work at all. Wasted money and few hours of my time. I saw the developer is addressing those issues individually, but I didn't bother, because I don't want to go through that ever again. Shame there is no alternative, but I will not use this one ever again.

Forced to pay for a patreon after recent update

became basically pay to use as the free version is practically useless now, it's limited to 2x speed as of a recent update and you have to pay for the ability to go up to 100x whereas it was up to 10x for free before, i wouldnt mind paying to do more than 10x but i'm very annoyed by the fact that such a good extension took the route of pretty much making the free locked behind a paywall. i will gladly edit this review to a higher rating (if possible, i dont review often here) if this is fixed, i loved this extension a lot before and am annoyed and disappointed.

Good use but why sudden a premium paywall? I've seen many greater dev who public enormous work just for free. Remember: you are not the only one who could speed up the browser, many other extensions could, and I could also use CE to speed up to 500x

You ruined your own app, no one is gonna buy your patreon, "Speed Gear" is an extension that's better and free.

trash paywall, cracking it to remove the paywall. Also, if I find a way to exploit your website I'll be sure to deface it :)

terrible decision to put it behind a pay wall, uninstalling there is a chrome extension called speed gear that does the same thing but better, and without having to pay a ridiculous amount. I'm switching to that, I suggest you do the same

from 10x to only 2x now its not usable anymore... edit: its not about stable or being aligned with updates its about money also monthly over 5 euros ist way to much

when i use this app , page refreshing and game starting again normal speed :/ why refresh why?

Many successful tools, such as Internet Download Manager, use a single up‑front payment that includes free updates and have thrived for years on that model Internet Download Manager Even a lifetime or “per‑major‑version” licence would give cost conscious users a fair option while still generating predictable revenue. Tiered pricing (including annual discounts). Even if subscriptions remain, introducing annual or multi year plans at a meaningful discount. It doesn't even speed up anything. (I use Opera GX). It was free though.

Doesn't work for games like Wall Destroyer BUT it does specify HTML speedup, so that is probably why.

It looks like it should work, but I can't figure out how to get it to work. Does anyone have instructions as to how I can get it working?
