Pinboard Tools

While this extension works reasonably well, I can not recommend anything related to pinboard. Pinboard looked promising 5 years ago, when I paid for an archival account. Now that my subscription is ending, I can not get Pinboard to send me my archive. Emails went unanswered, my post to the pinboard google support group was not approved, dm on twitter was unanswered. A public comment on twitter got me a reply that he'd "look into it", then nothing. Maciej is infamous these days for his complete lack of customer support -- I've had multiple unanswered emails over the past 5 years. The official Pinboard twitter account is a mess of political rants. Save your money -- and your bookmarks -- and look elsewhere. My current recommendation is raindrop.io

Broken in Chrome 79. Prompts for login when attempting to bookmark when already logged in.

When I click "Save to Pinboard" literally nothing happens. It doesn't even respond to the click.

The dropdown from the toolbar button no longer display correctly 90% of the time on Chrome 31 on OS X 10.9.1.

Pretty sad that the extentsion doesn't get so much love. - Popup could be configurable (Direct Tagging without the need for another choice) - After adding the bookmark I still see a white window. Need to click somewhere to close it.

Has become very slow, previously has been working for years. Now when clicking save, it will take 3-10 seconds to load the next interface where I can enter info about a pin. Aside from recent slowness this is 5 stars.

Same as other reviewers: works but the post-save blank page definitely doesn't give one a sense of "Yes, my link just saved correctly".

Seriously, fix the bug that causes the popup not to close when a bookmark is saved. Ffs.

I was excited to install this plugin but the "Save to Pinboard" isn't working but "Read Later" does work... not sure why.

Please, PLEASE add a keyboard shortcut to save a page to pinboard!

Good, but: -Does not close after saving bookmark, -Should show (color change ?) whether current page is Pinboarded or not. I really like Pinboard and its Android app, but this Chrome extension (and the other ones I tried) needs some improvements to reach the level of Yagbe (extension for Google bookmarks)

Basic editing doesn't work as expected. Adding tags to a note doesn't autocomplete them when you hit tab. Also, when you click Save, the popup window stays open. If the user experience is fixed a bit, it will be very good.

Can we please get an update? The popup doesn't close once a bookmark has been saved. Frustrating. Also, its a bit ugly... Could you allow custom styling also? pretty please?

Gives a error when I try to add a pinboard on addpinboard.js "pbdescription is not defined", any update???

Works but not that fast and doesn't always close after submitting a bookmark.

I use this extension every day and it's great, except lately after it saves a bookmark instead of refreshing to the saved box I just get an empty white pop up. It's really annoying.
