Hardly provides any useful information now that it's pay-to-use.
Everything has become pay-to-use, a money-making machine. I'm uninstalling it.
Totally wrong. This makes a LOT of mistakes. Many false positives. Cannot be trusted.
Redirects to gotosearchnow, then once more before landing you on Yahoo search results. Once I removed it the problem went away. I re added the extension only to post this review to warn others before I remove it again. Lame, it used to work but that was a few years ago and I forgot about it. Devs check your product, I wasted time figuring out where this problem came from, and I am clearly not the only one experiencing this issue as you can see by the reviews.
The extension add affiliate links to your google searches. For example, every time I search on google for specific Elementor features, instead of taking me to more information for that feature, it leads to their purchase page which I thought was strange why that was happening. It turns out they have sneaky bloatware in their extension which you can only see if you look close enough in your searched.
Can't use the extension or even access their website because my IP has been blocked... I can't imagine that I am the only one.
Why its not working in Pakistan?
useless, not free!
This extension causes malware redirect hacks remove and uninstall. also it's went downhill anyway it used to be a really powerful tool
iCloud "Hide my Email" is banned by BuiltWith Technology. Because they are greedy for your data and "uck" your privacy. I'm afraid so.
Sometimes the BuiltWith extension just says "The website says we are forbidden to do a lookup on it."... What does that even mean? This is only supposed to show a concise summary of what's in _View Source_. There's no way to "forbid" that. Even when it shows information, most of its UI is devoted to upsell attempts. It's not even clear what they offer for the $99 price tag, but that's likely more than I'd ever pay for a simple browser extension.
Used to love this addon, now it's just a cash grab.
doesn't work, not load anything
Used to work adequately to give a reasonable guess at a site's tech foundation. Now, it's suddenly incomprehensible. This appears to coincide with some effort to monetize the platform by incentivizing login in some way that (like everything about this extension, now) remains abundantly unclear.
Used to work but no longer works on Chrome 41.0.2272.118 with no other addons installed. Switched to SimilarTech Technology Profiler which works great.
Nothing shows anymore without an account. Time to do an open source version....
No longer works for me :(
In the past, I had used this extension frequently, and really grew to appreciate how easily and quickly it gave me a summary overview of a site's technology framework. In fact, I really liked this extension (except for the logo :)... then, it changed - Now it requires an account... the developer wants to charge for what used to be free. It seems even a base level of utility is no longer available for free... even after creating an account, logging in, etc. Sorry, Jim... She's Dead!
It doesnt work anymore.
Basically unusable when every single time I click it they are asking for money to get any information. Worthless extension now.
Doesn't work on intranet. Other extensions of this type work just fine.
Reports incorrect site and server info. I changed hosting providers over a month ago and this extension still reports my old configuration. No response from support.
Went from free to $144/year. It was great while it lasted.
It used to be great. Now they hide the most interesting information behind a pay-wall. Now THIS version of the extension sucks. I can't speak for "$144 /year with unlimited* lookup" version.
I find that recently it reveals less and less. I tried to create a sign-on account and it won't accept Outlook accounts :-( So what email domains will it accept?
This extension used to work remarkably well for me, but recently it has been failing for me with the message: "The operation has timed out"
ended up using other similar extensions which i consider simpler and easier / generally better, such as wappalyzer.
Works pretty well, a little bit confusing, but it tracks most important scripts and implementations on a webpage.
