Description

LENS is an AI-powered security extension that protects you from phishing, scams, and unsafe websites by giving you clear, real-time visual safety indicators on every page you visit. It analyzes webpages and Gmail messages to detect suspicious links, impersonation attempts, and malicious activity before you click. During email analysis, all email content is masked and all URLs are stripped to extract only the domain, which is then sent to the LENS Platform for evaluation using our non–data-retaining GPT model. After analysis, emails are immediately discarded. With the user’s explicit consent, some masked emails may be temporarily saved to improve detection algorithms and are automatically deleted within 30 days. LENS displays simple color-coded signals—green for safe, orange for suspicious, red for risky—so you always know when to proceed or stop. All website analysis is performed locally via the required MAIA Desktop Application to ensure your browsing data never leaves your device. LENS does not track you or sell personal information, and its single purpose is to help you browse confidently by identifying threats that traditional filters miss. After creating your account and installing the MAIA Desktop App, LENS connects to your local AI engine and begins providing instant clarity and protection across your digital activity.
