Poorly chosen colors that emphasize darkness over legibility - except for the inactive tab backgrounds where the grey is much lighter than it makes sense to be. I'd rather inactive tabs all faded into the background and the active one have the highlighted background color.

how do you uninstall this? it's quite annoying

There is more contrast between the currently selected tab (i.e. the design is more user-friendly) when the Chrome window is not currently selected. Chrome 69 design is grim.

How can I remove it ?

I like the dark theme. in general I am attracted to the darker backgrounds on my screens because it is easier on the eyes and tends to save energy, and this one is no different. however, over the past several months that I have had this I am constantly annoyed that the hyperlinks in the top right of the chrome home page ("Gmail" and "Images", next to the nine dot "Google Apps" symbol) are also displayed in black and I have to adjust my monitor or bring my nose right up to the screen in order to see them

Why is it not full screen? looks kinda retarded with the white borders & bottom

Chrome text is black over black... maybe use white or grey for contrast.
