Same with everyone, I dove in and went for the pro subscription (hoping that it will work better) unfortunately, the youtube transcription is still broken. I have read the reviews and feedback and i am afraid that I have to give this a one-star because I coughed up the money for this app only to fail.

This app is getting through the process of enshitification. i used it for the last year, it was free and was working all good. now it breaks, doesn't show youtube transcripts or shows them after 3 page reloads ,and then ridiculously asks for more money if use that function which connects my chatGPT account to do some prompt on the transcript. It worths paying chatGPT , but not for your app that is only a click to copy paste the transcript into chatGPT. Basically a new free app will replace you. i just uninstalled glasp.

They started sending me emails without my consent. `Pure Fail

This is not very user friendly. I have the pro version, and I can't transcribe anything. There is instructions but nothing works. Or again its a mystery how to use anything. I have put in the prompts but nothing happens there is no activation button. I have asked for help but receive none. And I have downloaded the extension.

Can't summarize youtube without paying. There's not even a free trial.

I can`t describe how much i dislike these nowadays "free" tags, do give a freaking teasing use of 3 uses "per day" and then asking for 10$ a month absolutely not worth to pay for.

The extension was useful for chatgpt summaries, it did make sense to pay for on page summaries, but suddenly imposing a 10$/month paywall to copy and paste the transcript to chatgpt is not it. Especially when there are other extension that do the same thing for free like "Youtube Summary With ChatGPT"

This app has become utterly disappointing. It used to be a helpful tool for quick summaries, especially since I already PAY for ChatGPT. Now they expect me to pay extra just to copy text and paste it into ChatGPT? What a joke. You've truly hit rock bottom. This is unacceptable.

Can't even sign in

All my highlights were removed from a page I checked yesterday. I don't know what happened, but lost all my written notes and this is disappointing.

Installed Glasp for YouTube transcipts and it is a no go. I understand You Tube may not wish it but no other use for glasp. Hope you resolve isuue.

Unfortunately, I can't highlight now and find all my highlighted sections. This has become a terrible extension now. Whenever I return to a website, they don't appear in the highlighted section. I tried uninstalling and installing it, but it did not work. I am using it on a desktop.

It used to be great, now it became pretty useless. I have more than 2.5k highlights, but every time i go back to a website they don't show up (which makes the app useless). Also, YouTube summaries are a premium feature. I'm using microsoft edge (latest version), no dark mode, and an ad blocker.

Why the setting has dark mode,but no effect to the extension? It color,all white,let my eyes go blind.

Used to be a pretty useful extension for highlighting things on sites however I simply cannot use it anymore if it is going to keep trying to push AI trash that I do not want, despite me having turned off all settings in the extension that seem to have anything to do with these features it will still show their interfaces on sites.

Only retrieved a fraction of the stuff I highlighted in my kindle and wouldn't download to txt properply. Getting providing me with an error message when I went to extract from the Zip file.

Wouldn't work. Kept asking me to log in and loading after logging in multiple times. Additionally the FIRST thing I'm met with is a default blacklist that I can't seem to find because the extension is simply not functioning. Uninstalled in less than 5 minutes.

since you had updated the extension , Every time i open youtube the settings are changed to by default settings . Therefore i request you to please look into this issue.

I found another extension that does the same thing and doesn't require registration, so I don't recommend it.

It used to work but no more. It opens a new ChatGPT tab but then gives an error and no summary of the YouTube video transcript. This is the error: "An error occurred Failed to fetch: 414 You can check the console for more details. (Ctrl+Shift+J)" It never works anymore. Windows 10 PC with Chrome browser.

I dont want to keep an extension that i never know when it's going to reject a certain website. I dont get their reasons for site exlusions. All i wanted was to highlight text on yahoo news article, what's the problem with that? what do they think is being compromised when it's all already public to see?! bologna! If the .EX creator sees this, I hope he fixes this if he can. For now gonna have to pass.

Thought of the extension is good, but it doesn't work like a normal bookmarking tool. Why can I not add simple bookmarks to everything and categorise them like normal bookmarks into Folders?

Because of this extension, Chrome started to glitch.

It works for facebook if YES then why is is showing OFF only for facebook?? If you are so upset with my negative review then it would be better if you tell me solution about my problem before saying this because you are a developer right?

This app will not load any youtube transcripts, I have tried everything, It was working about a month ago and has not worked since. It just loads and loads, I have tried uninstalling and re installing that does not work, I can't seem to get any help from support. This app was good but no longer works.
