Don't get this service. They will keep charging your card without your permission. They have been charging me for months without my permissions. I bought the service for 1 month but then went to Settings > Billing > Cancel subscription > confirm and the website will say your subscription will cancel next month BUT if you refresh the page the cancelation notice goes away. They have been charging me constantly without anyway to remove the card or cancel the subscription. Do NOT get this service. I am currently having my lawyer review options for this and will be contacting this company in some days due to the constant charging of my account after I have repeatedly canceled the subscription.

Requires invasive permissions and paid subscription to bounce spam emails.

Installed the extension; cannot create an account. I hit "Submit" and nothing happens at all. Can't use the extension if I can't open an account.

Zero customer support. Have emailed, used their form and no response. Blocks emails that you did not add and there is no way to verify if the tool is working. Blocked emails that should go to trash remain in spam folder - so it really looks like this thing isn't working. Worse, costs a fortune to include several emails. I was hoping the bounce feature would get some persistent spammers out of my mailbox. Who knows? It might be time to ask for my money back.

Registration was very confusing, I had to go through the proces of adding an account several times before it worked. I was hoping that I could use this to bounce the occasional message, but at a minimum of $49 for an yearly subscription, no thanks. Why software companies no longer sell licences instead of trying to force customers into paying for an expensive or monthly subscription is beyond me. Deleting.

It won't let me sign up for an account. The sign up widow keeps refreshing after I enter and confirm a password.

This app does not work. At all.

Doesn't work, too expensive for just adding a block button... I installed, linked everything, but there is no buttons loaded or anything. Possibly conflicting with another add on, but no error message, tried for an hour, waste of time.

Does not work. Claims to register the email account to the app in the extension but when you log into it and try to use it in an email to block, it says that you are on a free account. I have emailed 4 times for a full refund and been totally ignored because I can't use this at all. The lack of contact details and website is very concerning and allows for issues to remain unaddressed. The payment default is YEARLY and not MONTHLY which can catch people out when subscribing if they're not careful and is unusual and suggests this is deceptive.

this doesnt work, also the drop menu with where to clossify the words like - casino - after days of trying each setting the spam got worse by 3x. i think this is because i clicked the check box to notify the spammer. THIS MAKES YOUR SPAM WORSE

Not only does this seem to not work but it appears to have been caught up in multiple "no-reply" email back and forths which have resulted in my gmail account being temporarily suspended from sending emails. I have sent an email to the site requesting cancellation and details so no need to reply asking me to send an email.

I added this extension to block spam emails and I had high hopes but after adding the extension and removing it a few times to try and refresh it, I still only see part of the corner box of operation and makes it very difficult to use. I have since removed this extension and will be looking at another extension.

Two questions: - Why do I need an account at some dubious extension-creator, just to block local Gmail?? - This blocks mail everywhere but not where it should; in the spamfolder. WHY???? That folder needs blocking. If I want to block anywhere else, I just make a filter for it. Weird. So, in the end this is not here to help us gmail users, it's just a simple moneymachine for the people behind the extension. And yes, there's a free option but man, one day of blocking and one has used up the allowed amount and has to wait till next month. Totally worthless.

I tried to create blocks several times and I always got the message "0 blocks created". A complete loss of time for me.

This is a scam and a piece of garbage. It says you have to pay in order to bounce back which is fine, so I sign up and pay. I then try to block someone emailing me and it fails every time saying "Auto-replies can't be sent to your own address." For real??? I emailed them with screenshots showing the person I'm trying to block is not myself, yet I've tried on 5 different people and it never works. If they don't refund me I'll be filing a chargeback with Visa.

even the free version is limited. They never warn you about that. You have about 100 emails you can block

You have to create an account just to use it. I already have dozens of account of everything. And this extension adds to my headache of dealing with multiple accounts for everything these days. Immediately, I uninstalled.

Utter $h!t. Doesn't work at all. Everything can be done from setting rules in Gmail

Be wary of installing this extension. To use it you have to create a Block Sender account on their website that you can't change or delete without the developers permission! I've uninstalled the extension as it does nothing you couldn't already do with Gmail filters anyway but now I can't get my account deleted. After 4 days of talking with the developer he won't delete my account at all. Basically this crook now has access to my Gmail account and he's stopped responding to requests to delete the account. The user has no options to change their email address or delete the Block Sender account at all and the developer won't delete it either, and it's been deliberately designed that way to hoodwink people into giving up access to their private email accounts. You will only find this out after you've created the Block Sender account. Shady and crooked business practice. Hate it.

In principle its good, and it works well, EXCEPT if you want to block a subdomain (i.e. when a commercial sender dodges spam filters by using "hello@crafty.annoyingnewsletter.com" once you've blocked "hello@annoying newsletter.com." It has the capacity to block those by putting an "*" before the domain but -- there is no way to do this easily from the gmail extension. You have to either go sign into the dashboard, or retype the domain name within the gmail extension. Also, their contact form is broken and they don't provide an email address, I had to google them and try a variety of "info@" "help@" etc. BTW the one that works is support@blocksender.io.

Total garbage. First of all, why is it even necessary to have to install an extension to block a sender in gmail? I am amazed that this isn't already a basic function of gmail. And this piece of junk doesn't even work. I installed it, and when I tried to use it, it asks me for gmail password--even though I'm already logged in to my gmail account--and then tells me it is wrong. It is NOT wrong.

Does not work! I have tried to get it to do the actual delete (not trash) of email and it does nothing. Gmail rules work, Block Sender does not!

I added this. Went to block an email. It asked me to sign in to block sender. I tried. It said my password was incorrect. Requested it be retrieved. Was told that my email address wasn't signed up to block sender. Catch 22 anyone! What a load of rubbish!!

A waste of time, how can this extension get so many good reviews? It does nothing. Do programmers really understand what we want and what we need? I don't think so.

Waste of money, the free version does nothing. Dont waste your time installing it. Its probably a scam

★☆☆☆☆2019-05-27

STAY AWAY. A SHAMEFUL, SHAM EXTENSION. The free version is useless and doesn't allow you to do anything. They propose to upgrade - I did upgrade to Plus version, thinking I would pay $4-something/year, only to find out that the Plus version also doesn't allow to bounce spam emails, which is what I had been looking for. So I upgraded to Pro version, thinking I would pay $7-something/year, and then I found out it's $7-SOMETHING PER MONTH. Not only that, but they don't provide an option to cancel instantly and get your money back - I cancelled my account and got a message that it would remain active for a year. This is nothing short of outrageous, an absolute sham.

Useless!! Just another pathetic effort from desperate scam wannabees.

★☆☆☆☆2019-02-17

Exactly what the other user said "the billing wording is misleading and I've been charged $89 for what I thought would be around $7." This happened to me also and is not a fair way for sales. This application should undergo google review for taking away customers' money. I have disputed this fact to my bank and awaiting for my refund promptly.

Can't send a bounce email without paying

★☆☆☆☆2018-10-13

Pointless - the free version doesn't do anything you can't do in gmail anyway - ie no bounce backs unless you pay - should make that clear and then save me time bothering to install it.

Does not work. At least not as advertised.

The app itself worked great for me! Very effective, but I feel the billing wording is misleading and I've been charged $89 for what I thought would be around $7. Unimpressed, I've emailed for a refund and which I expect to receive ASAP!

★☆☆☆☆2018-04-06

The bounce feature doesn't work. Support have taken 3 days but still no reply. Meanwhile they took my money. Not impressed. I have unlinked my Gmail account and uninstalled. Now awaiting a refund.

★☆☆☆☆2018-02-14

Very cludgy solution. Free version can't actually do anything, have to pay $5 for the very simple functionality of rejecting/bouncing a mail message. You can have full dedicated mail service for this price.

I guess zero stars are not allowed. This product is a complete ripoff. They charged me twice and refuse to response to me. I would not do business with a compnay that ignores its customers and steals from them. On top of that it is a crappy product.
