BillingPlatform Inspector is a developer and admin productivity tool built specifically for BillingPlatform users. It adds a powerful query and data exploration interface directly inside your browser - no external tools, no setup, no credentials to manage. ─── FEATURES ─────────────────────────────────────────── ▸ Data Export & Query Runner Write and execute BPQL queries against your BillingPlatform instance. Results are displayed in a rich table with instant filtering and export to Excel, CSV, or JSON. Handles large datasets (>10K) with progressive pagination and a real-time row counter. ▸ Smart Entity & Field Browser Type a query and the Inspector automatically detects the entity and shows its queryable fields. Click any field to insert it into your query. Toggle "All Fields" to include non-queryable fields for reference — useful when exploring a new object's data model. ▸ Query History & Saved Queries Every successfully executed query is saved to your history. Pin the ones you run often as Saved Queries, or promote them to reusable Templates with a name and description. ▸ Templates Built-in templates get you started instantly with common queries. Save your own templates and access them alongside the built-ins from the Templates dropdown. ▸ Multi-Tab Workflow Open as many query tabs as you need. Each tab tracks its own BPQL, entity context, and field suggestions independently. Switch between them without losing your work. ▸ Light / Dark / System Theme Matches your OS preference by default, or pick light or dark manually. Your preference is saved across sessions. ▸ Instance Colour Coding Assign a colour to each BillingPlatform environment so you always know at a glance whether you're querying production, sandbox, or a custom instance. ─── SECURITY ─────────────────────────────────────────── The Inspector reads your active BillingPlatform session from your open BillingPlatform tab - the same session your browser already holds. It does not store, transmit, or share your session credentials with any external server. All query results stay in your browser. Data saved to Saved Queries and Templates is stored locally in Chrome's extension storage, on your device only. The extension only activates on *.billingplatform.com pages.
