Virus Scanner With Google Drive

Be careful when installing this extension. It is probably a scam... First of all, Google Drive has built-in antivirus so this extension is redundant (if it even does anything): https://support.google.com/a/answer/172541 Secondly, there is no privacy statement or any traceback to who is 'providing' this service. The site is registered to someone named Kim Chunseong in Korea but there isn't even a website. And last, it just redirects to https://scanner.thetimetube.com/ and you don't need to install an extension for that (or connect your Google drive). Not saying this extension is malicious but I wouldn't use it.

It's a virus, just don''t get it

this is probably the worst thing ever. first of all it goes to the site to scan. second of all its very confusing and hard to use. third of all it cant do a thing properly. forth of all I CAN'T ******* UNINSTALL IT also there's ads and stuff please read this befor you connect and don't connect

Wanted it to scan 1000mb files, dissapoint.

Just takes you to a website...that's not encrypted...sounds "legit"..uninstalled immediately.

The extension is not worth the work. I just needed to be able to scan, on demand, an item uploaded to my Drive folders and thought this would be perfect. I installed the app, saw that it would not work for my needs, AND AM UNABLE TO UNINSTALL THE EXTENSION. It is not listed in my extensions in Chrome, not listed in Drive, not anywhere. YET, the option to scan with Virus Scan is still an option on all of my Drive files and folders so clearly this app still has full access. Not OKAY. I have submitted a ticket to Google and if they do not fix this and allow a way to remove this extension, I will have to leave Google and all of it's products. I know, I know, I am only one person and Google won't care but I will. Read this review, believe this review, and choose an alternative product!!!

Installs like any other extension, only when I go to run it, it takes me to the website. What's the point of installing? Go to extensions to remove, no sign of it. Basically, red flags all over. I don't recommend this to anyone

How to use/run it instructions are abysmal; as most apps are... SO Sick of the Tech Know It Alls not being able to Communicate to The Common Old Person. Removing it.
