Needs to be updated, as I'm seeing a lot of pages with comments on them that used to be blocked. Get busy.
It doesn't work on Patreon.
Worked on a couple sites for less than 24 hours.Had high hopes at first. Tried all sorts of way of using it. Inconsistent and a waste of my time. Probably for you too.
Didn't work :c
Doesn't work on Pateron
It stopped working again
This doesn't toggle anything. I cannot get comments to show up on many sites now, no matter what I try. I ONLY wanted to stop comments on YouTube, this is worthless to me if i can't turn the comments back ON!
I couldn't remove the comments to the site i specifically installed this to get rid of I'm sure it's good for others, but not me
good when it works, but sometimes breaks facebook (even when apparently disabled).
On Instagram on desktop, comments sometimes pop up briefly if you click the arrows to view other images in a post.
Within the last few months started slowing Youtube and 4chan down to a crawl. Best extension of its kind so I hope this gets fixed EDIT: Found that enabling comments seems to fix or at least help with the Youtube issue (I use Unhook anyway - btw disabling that didn't make any difference). It doesn't fix 4chan but I found that disabling 4chan X helps with but doesn't entirely restore performance on the main site, while on archival sites like arch.b4k.co enabling comments helps there (disabling Shut Up is the only way to get things completely back to normal). The best way to reproduce these issues is by opening a large video or thread and skipping around / opening a reply window and typing. Again this wasn't a problem until recently so I'm not sure what's changed to cause it and I don't really want to have to disable extensions I make good use of to restore performance that wasn't even lacking before or to get other extensions working.
It doesn't work on all of the sites that I go to. Wondering if that can be fixed.
This plugin blocks all comment sections by default with no option to instead allow by default. The plugin is well-maintained and I'd prefer to stick with it if the default could be changed but it can't and this is a huge obvious missing feature. For now, I've switched to the NoComment plugin.
Very handy, but if the extension allowed me to see all of the sites I've allowed comments for, that would make it a 5-star extension for me.
