Tumblr Savior

suddenly stopped working. when clicking on the extension icon, it automatically disables the extension so you can't add any tags to it anymore. how annoying

i used to love ts but recently it's not working anymore and i don't know why. i tried uninstalling and installing again but it's still not working and that means this extension is useless now

i used to really like tumblr savior, but after the recent tumblr updates in the past month it doesnt work anymore- i keep seeing words i blacklisted on my dash and it grosses me out the built-in tumblr blacklist filters are still working, but i dont like seeing the words show up in big text telling me its there and it doesnt help at all if a post isnt tagged, please fix tumblrsavior

No longer works and by default blacklisting anything with Trump or coronavirus mentioning.

It no longer works. It resets after a bit of time, possibly on Chrome reload, possibly after clearing cache, etc. Broken.

It doesn't block the blacklisted tags on tumblr.

It doesn't work anymore. When I search tags it flat out doesn't work at all and on my dashboard it only works on a few posts at the top then stops working as I scroll. Its sad because this use to be the only thing that made tumblr bearable.

Doesn't work. I have to open the extension and save every time I search a tag and even then t only gets the first page worth of tags and nothing else.

It stoped working a few days ago and it doesn't block anything anymore. The blacklist disappeared and I can´t interact with it.

This isn't working all of a sudden. Stupid.

It worked beautifully for a long time but for the last few months it hasn't been blocking anything at all. I keep checking and it is enabled, but the blacklist won't even open so I can edit it. It's completely useless now.

It doesn't block anything. I tried blocking Pokemon, and all it did was remove the tag from the post, but the post is still there.

When I use it, it doesn't let me scroll past one page! I don't know if anyone else had this issue, but getting rid of Tumblr Savior fixed the problem immediately for me.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! This extension gave me trojan virus after virus! I know it was this application as after running a scan on my computer it informed me that this was the culprit. You have been warned!

This was a great extension, when it was working. For weeks now it has stopped working all together. I have tried resetting to defaults and re-loading my settings, as well as removing the extension then adding it back. No matter what I do it does not hide any posts.

it doesn't load my dash properly.please fix it

Used to be really good but now it's broken and it's completely useless.

I used to love it until it started to hide things I didn't ask it to hide... I've noticed that some people's posts never show on my dash even when they don't have some of my blacklisted tags. I don't understand what is causing this, but it affects at least 2 blogs I follow (but there may be more I haven't noticed). So I can't use this extension anymore, which is lame because it really was a savior for me when it worked properly!

It's not hiding some words I put in. This is really beginning to annoy me now as I don't want to keep manually blocking every post I don't like.

Okay, it was super good and then new update came and killed my list. And doesn't really work anymore.

Pros: It does as it's advertised. If you put something in the blacklist, posts about that no longer show up. Cons: Base Tumblr offers the same services. In Settings, you can choose to filter tags, as well as filter post content. If you put a word or phrase into Filter Post Content, any posts with that word or phrase will be blocked. Not only that, there is also a bug that results in all usernames being hidden from reblog chains. This makes the website borderline unusable, since you can't tell when somebody is replying to themselves, or how many times they've added something in a reblog chain. You also can't tell if the addition at the bottom was added by somebody you follow or not. AND if you come across a post by, say, one-time-i-dreamt, or posts-from-a-darker-timeline, you'll have no way of knowing the post you're reading is fictional. Not to mention how not seeing usernames completely ruins the Shinigami Eyes extension, which a lot of people use. Will this bug be fixed? Yes, probably. But until then, this extension does nothing but hurt your experience, and it provides nothing that Tumblr itself doesn't provide.

Tag blacklists completely do not work anywhere but on your dashboard. All tags remain when browsing a specific blog, which is completely counter-intuitive and useless. I want to browse a blog but hide posts on that blog with specific tags.

update removed my entire blacklist. do better.

This app seriously needs updating. My hides keep getting cleared and when i enter my saved settings it says "Those are settings are corrupt, I'm sorry but I can't use them" there should be no reason to do this.

I wish this would affect tag searches, but apparently it only works on your dashboard, which is helpful, but limited. Any time I search for tags, I still see my black listed posts appear.

It only blocks the first few posts that come up when I search for something that I've blacklisted but shows the rest. I don't see the point in even keeping this.

I am still seeing spam blogs, regardless of the so called support

When i search in list view it only block the first page of loaded post, other than that it doesnt block anything else. This needs to be fixed, and dont tell me to switch to grid view.

Everything has been working great until recently, now I keep seeing One Direction left and right, despite specifically blacklisting anything having to do with them, and I see that the posts are tagged, TS is just failing to block them! Arggggggh

Great idea but in my opinion poorly executed. Many tagged posts still appear on my dashboard and far too many posts which are entirely unrelated to my blocked tags don't show up anywhere. I'm also unable to load more posts on my dash when I reach the bottom when Tumblr Saviour is active, even when no tags are black-listed. All in all, not worth the hassle for me.

i SWEAR TO GOD I'VE DOWNLOADED THIS AT LEAST 10 TIMES SO FAR THIS YEAR BECAUSE AFTER A FEW DAYS OR EVEN A FEW HOURS IT JUST BREAKS AND STOPS HIDING STUFF

Needs updating. :( When it's enabled my dash just keeps blinking! Does not work.

Savior will work marvelously for a few weeks, but then stop functioning randomly. If you uninstall/reinstall it works again but it's a very annoying process. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

I've used this for literally over a decade, no issues. However, per Tyrian Bizkits, same issue. Same infinite loading, fine when I disable TS.

I loved it before. Now though, it just... isn't working? The featured content shows, the ads show, the radar shows sometimes, the "check these tags" things shows again. I had all of that turned off. Please fix this

Used to work fine, but recently stopped blocking the posts (the default warning messages show up instead) and... causes all the avatars/blog links disappear on the dashboard reblogs?
